This game was just a totally miserable experience from start to finish, especially being a post apocalyptic story that was released during the pandemic, creating some harrowing similarities to real life at the time. I personally don't want to be depressed by a game, and certainly not preached to as well. The way they treated Joel's exit from the series was downright disrespectful to all the hard work they put into his character in the original (and much better) game. I think Neil was more focused on sniffing his own farts more than writing a decent sequel.

Man this trailer is cool, the music helps set the scene, and the graphics of the trailer make it look as if it were real, the music for some reason makes me a mix of creeped out and sad, but that was the point, at damn it really helped us get excited.
Like someone else said, it's overhated. With all of the awards it got, I wouldn't call it underrated but I see what you mean. This game left an impression on me as much as the first one did.
It’s so intense seeing her struggle to steady her right arm of its tremors and finding strength in the bond she has with Dina, enough so to stall her shaking.
I love that all of the song covers in this game come across as really depressing with the lyrics only being accompanied by a guitar instead of all of the backing instruments you see in the original songs making you interpret the song in an extremely different way. There's probably some hidden meaning to this about how humanity no longer have the background noise of our current world due to the apocalypse, but I just thought it was interesting after listening to some of the original covers of these songs and decided to note it down in a youtube comment that might never be read by anyone.
It is such a short yet beautiful trailer that shows how chaotic the world of the last of us and how desperate we become in the face of trying to survive.
