Howbeit (and albeit) CollegeHumor never made a movie of it themselves. Would have been even better no doubt if they had, but for what it's worth then the movie is still worth giving a look imo anyway.

@Jason Yang IMO if CH invested all their time and money, banking on the success of a full length feature parody of a kids show, to propagate them into the same level as multibillion dollar production companies such as WB and Disney, they'd close down in a week.

When I was almost a preteen, I actually hoped they would make a specific type of live-action movie based on Dora the Explorer, with something similar to this! I'm so glad they actually made a REAL live-action movie based on Dora the Explorer called "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" and to be honest, that movie actually turned out better than what I hoped for! It has a clever title, it has amazing graphics, it's almost faithful to the source material but with the warmth and charm of all action-adventure fantasy movies, it has much more of an appeal for kids, it's brighter, it's more cheerful, it's still a major improvement over the original series, and it's one of my favorite Nickelodeon movies!
Interesting. I haven't seen it, but seems like few others enjoyed it. Granted, the one thing the official trailer needed more of was this kind of self-aware humour.
