I actually think the form factor is good. Not putting flagship camera's for basically a $2000 phone is unacceptable. If they would have put the cameras from the s24 Ultra I would have already pre ordered. I am holding out for the Pixel fold 2.
Wait for the $3000 z fold 7 ultra
100%. Only thing from stopping me is the 3 year old camera tech. Yes the processing is better but I want one device to do everything especially for the prices and this latest a fold doesn’t look like it’ll deliver. Roll on August.
@GHOSTSTARSCREAM apple fans are those people and weirdos who hate anything popular and want to act like they are the smarter person by buying a cheaper phone that isn't as good. Samsung is also a foreign company. If it was made by western people it would be loved. If steve jobs created samsung it would kill apple in sales
Good luck with the trade-in value of your Pixel Fold 2.
@GHOSTSTARSCREAMI know right, what about the pixel camera?
The Fold 6 reminds me of basically a mini Galaxy Ultra, that folds. Obviously the cameras aren't as good but they should be good enough. I think the most important part for me, and what most regular consumers should consider is... Most people purchase devices and upgrade by trading them in. Outside of iPhones, no Android phones hold their value in terms of trade-ins, like Samsung. This makes Samsung phones infinitely more valuable compared to OnePlus and Googles products... Again, for the general consumer.
I don't think google has a chance, cause the tensor chip is no competence for SD8 G3. I'm never getting a pixel fold in my life again.
I'm still hoping for a Duo 3
The great thing about the fold 6 coming out is unlocked new and refurbished fold 5's are going to be cheap on Amazon.
I'd need to see the Pixel 2 not getting hot and having better battery life than the Fold 6 for me to declare it a winner. It has a much bigger battery.
The phone in the summer is a bummer. Talk about hot pockets
I'm surprised there haven't been that many leaks of the pixel fold 2.
Extremely bland from Samsung. I hope they feel more pressure from Google and OnePlus, because this event showed that Samsung is still extremely complacent and has hardly had a huge innovation or product release in the last 5 years. I want to like there products and get interested as a android user, but I see almost no change in their foldable or wearables from 3 years ago.
Samsung has the best software and a pretty solid ecosystem. They won't be dethroned anytime soon.
They've had a huge innovation, they gave nothing new and are charging consumers $100 more.
@@TheElder_ I hope you aren't complaining about a $100 price increase, because if you are you don't need a $2,000 phone to begin with. 😁
@@TheMadmax0609weird that you're supporting a mega corporation's price increase.
@@TheMadmax0609 I would never buy a mid range phone for a $2000. Especially a fold.
As long as they keep using those shitty Tensor chips, then hell no!
A folding phone is as close to a laptop as you're gonna get.
You will want a fast CPU that can edit video and multi task.
If you need a pocket warmer, then sure go with the folding pixel phones! 😛
It's not really lack luster.
I Messed with the Zfold6 love the feel of it. Feels and looks wider than you would think. A tad bit wider would be perfect in my opinion.
Cameras are better at least in my comparison it seemed clearer specially when zoomed in. But wish it had the ultra cameras.
Well if the only thing changed is a slight change in aspect ratio, a by in the hinge and some AI and processing, I would say that is lackluster. If your main selling point is software features, then why not buy an older phone used for cheaper and just wait for them to arrive there?
Yes it's lack luster, it's people like you that keeps samsung from doing this
@AM-wi6zo there is no excuse and it's something I always said. The Fold should have the best cameras. The most expensive device should have the best of everything or equal to the best. But what is it that would have made it not lack luster in your opinion?
@GHOSTSTARSCREAM yah and also smaller bezels. So it's 1mm more but feels like 3mm nothing crazy but feels nice. Wish it was more like 6.5 ish
Thats because they added 1mm to the width and narrowed the bezels by 2mm. So together you get a screen 3mm wider, about the same width of the screen on something like an iphone X. Narrow by todays standards, but perfectly usable onehanded.
Hey Shane (or anyone else), any suggestions for a good quality glass screen protector for the OnePlus Open?
Yeah, they raised the price by $100, but they also raised the trade-in by $200. So if you have a Fold 5, the fold 6 is actually $100 CHEAPER than the Fold 5 was.
Either way, I'm not getting a Fold 6. I was hopeful up until yesterday, but the event made it clear for me that I'm not getting a Fold 6.
@GHOSTSTARSCREAMWe only get like 450€ trade in for the Fold 4 in Europe. Hilarious.
How long do these deal usually last?
I think samsung is on the right track. Phones are at its peak. Focus now on how you use it. Focus on software. S24 ultra is amazing but I do miss the slime form factor. My opinion.
@@jacobrivera6433Well then you are in luck!
But that's the problem here. You can buy the most expensive phone in America, and get 4 year old cameras and 75% of a good battery, with no stylus. So yes, phones are their peak (for now) but the Fold 6 surely isn't.
I actually like the Fold 6 width even with it's basic cameras. I hope they don't make it any wider. The one thing I'd like to see it it being thinner or thin as the Magic V2.
thank you for the video Shane! :)
I’m torn between the Fold 6 and OnePlus Open. Either one will be insured through Progressive so I am not concerned about delicate displays. Help me choose.
The Pixel Fold is a NO GO with Tensor silicone.
The Fold 6 is on pre order but I took a look at one in a tech store today - still a narrow front form factor I could not compare side by side with the fold 5 but it did not look much different, I think the crease was much less noticeable and the screen was definately bright and impressive when open.
At the price they are asking i am prepared to wait and see if the fold 2 and the vivio are released in Australia - if not in the next few months i will reconsider as i would expect a few deals will be around towards the end of the year.
There are two things I'm hoping for. Better multitasking and video-out. I don't expect desktop mode yet, but having the possibility in Android 16 or 17 would be big.
This is going to be my first fold. I knew the cameras weren't getting upgraded, but my thought was if they used titanium, I would get it. The titanium build feels so nice and is great against scratches. This me justifying my purchase lol
Wait I thought it wasn’t titanium
@masaguchi46
It's not it's Aluminum
@@masaguchi46 I was misinformed, I saw Mrwhostheboss video and he states it has titanium.
@@Rcalderon518 it's unfortunate. I was hoping it was too.
What's crazy for me is I've seen more folds in real life compared to any Pixel.
When does the Pixel
Fold 2 get released? and is it going to have a Tensor chip in it.
I hope the Pixel Fold does a great job at offering things that the Z Fold 6 doesn't, and that the Z Fold continues with its current design philosophy so that people who like the narrow design will continue to have that.
I could barely care less what the Z Fold does with its camera personally, and the battery is rarely an issue so a little more battery efficiency a year is plenty as far as I'm concerned. I just want a fold that's reliable, has a small outer screen, has a large inner screen, has a stylus, and has an under-display camera. No other fold has that feature set, so regardless of what impressive feats another fold can manage it would not be the one for me.
The Pixel Fold won’t be better than the Samsung if they can’t offer stylus support and better multitasking. They are way behind on those.
The only real better thing the Pixel has is cameras and they can figure out how to have visual voicemail in the dialer while Samsung somehow still can’t get that.
I will definitely go from the fold 5 to the pixel 2,if sold in Ireland
I really like using Samsung's software ... But this Unpacked event was the most underwhelming one from them in such a long time. I find it funny that they leaned in on Google Ai features (which I know is a huge partnership) but why wouldn't you go with the company that made them in the first place. First time I'm actually waiting to see what Google has to offer before pulling the trigger on a new foldable. Great content as always
Personally, I think peoples expectations have become unrealistic. It's not realistic to expect massive changes to products year after year, indefinitely. That's not possible.
I personally love this form factor. The more industrial look with the squared edges, the matte finish, the crease is reduced, the front display has been widened as far as it could possibly go with this form factor (I think).
This looks highly refined and a nice upgrade. The only thing I can see there being valid disappointment around are the lack of camera upgrades. I don't care because I'm not a professional photographer, so the cameras are already more than I need, but that seems to be an area where they could improve this device.
Future nice to haves would be no crease or as invisible as possible, built in S-Pen and...that's it for me. This is borderline perfection for my tastes with this form factor.
Other form factors exist, but I think this is basically the best version of what Samsung is going for. A foldable that is easier to hold with a usable front display (one handed) that doesn't take away from the main display.
Had a ZFold 3, then moved to OnePlus Open. MASSIVE upgrade. I now am using both the Pixel Fold and the Open. I pre ordered the ZFold 6 because it looks like a fantastic upgrade to the 3 I used to have. I think the slight form factor change is bigger than people think with the 6
The only thing Samsung has is really good discounts for trade in's but Google is known to be very offensive for trade in's especially trading in a pixel vs a iphone for a new pixel
To me the only lackluster thing was the cameras and the price. To come out with the same cameras, that have been out since the Galaxy S22, it's just absurd. On top of that, they raised the price. Most foldables were lowering prices. But for them to go up, and providing nothing but an aesthetic update, is sad.
In reality though, I think it's the best all around foldable out, and these refinements are incredible. So I still think they have a very tight grip on the market.
Most people don't upgrade year to year especially with an expensive foldable. I think the biggest upgrade people are missing is the weight reduction especially when compared to the ZF3 which is a likely upgrade path. Weight has always been my biggest critique.
Ive had them all. Loved the form factor of pixel fold. Current driver is oneplus open. Not sure what could be improved from this phone. Its great. Maybe lighter, thinner but over all its perfect.
Same. My only gripe is i want the camera bump to be flat out.
Couldn't agree with you more, I love my OnePlus open!...... I just wish I could get a stylus for it! Any ideas??
The fact the just barely made the front screen wider and did nothing wit the cameras left it open for the pixel to topel them if they fix the overheating. Personal question to everyone? What is the major hang up on making the phone slimmer!? Their sacrificing so much to make the phone a few grams lighter. The tech isn't there enough yet to go for thin and still have all the things the consumer actually want. 🙏🏾
The camera stovetop 🤣
Google made a good move by moving the release date forward. Less time to wait now to see what the pixel fold is going to be like
is it worth it now to get honor magic v2
I feel like Google is flakey with their decisions and this reflects in my pixel fold, it's software, and will undoubtedly be present in the pixel fold 2. Making it feel like an unknown quantity. My time with my Pixel Fold has been okay, not great so I'm going back to Samsung, not coz it's amazing hardware etc, but coz it gets everything to a level of "alright" that makes for a more consistent experience. If I were to list all the small issues the pixel fold has that the 2 will adopt we would be here all day.
You have to understand. This is actually genius. I only buy phones every other year, but folds are too pricey for that every 3 years. Th3 6 is not an upgrade for z4 or 5 users it's for 3 users. Think about it this way, and it makes sense.
Z3 is almost same as z4 🤣
@MrPoliarinis not even close
I agree with this comment.
@BryanOwens Its not the same, but to say "not even close" is a stretch. Side by side the specs are identical
I'm upgrading to zfold 6 from zfold 3 and still disappointed. Need better cameras and built in spen slot.
I'll probably sell and get a pixel fold 2 if that turns out to be interesting.
I'm hoping I'll get a good trade-in for my pixel fold for the pixel fold 2. If so, I'm sold 🙂
I think if they put the 9 pro xl cameras in it that'll be the decider, im almost sold but waiting for more specs to be released
These prices are nutty. Buying it used would probably still be way too expensive.
Im very interested on the design more than anything else tbh
Like you I don't like that they changed the form factor, I wish they would have just made the outer screen a little better or leave it the same. The inner screen reduce the bezels a fair bit making it 8 in if possible with a reduced crease and updating the cameras. This would've been enough for me to take the plunge, now if they left the price the same but offered better trade in deals then even more so I'd be willing to swap. But as for what we may be getting if they offer better trade in deals then I might consider swapping from my S23 ultra.
I am going to wait and see what the new fold z6 looks like and also see what Google comes out with before I upgrade to anything. I'm excited about the new pixel 2, but I'm curious to see what the six looks like again before I'm making decisions and to see what the price is and see what the trade-ins are
It's like Samsung wanted to only get people with a Fold 2 or 3 to upgrade. They could've done 1 of the requested features cameras, reasonably wider outer screen, S pen slot and at least it would've been worth discussing... Few with a Fold 4 or 5 will upgrade.
Man i went to Best buy today and had a chance to play with the z fold 6 and I was impressed. I wasn't blown away, but I was impressed. It's very light and super thin. It's not a huge upgrade over the z fold 5 but it's enough for me.
Where is the OnePlus Open video? Link in the description? Pissing me off trying to look for that review.
Under the links. czcams.com/video/O72mjHxM5WY/video.html
Great video Shane. I enjoyed the slightly longer format. At this point I've already disqualified the Z fold 6, I'll be voting with my wallet as I have been since the z fold 2, it's still too skinny. I'll be waiting for the pixel fold 2 to make a decision, from all the little leaks we have seen I think it might be perfect, but incase there is a massive flaw and it falls smack on it's face, I'll get the OnePlus Open for cheap used 3rd party. By then I should be able to pick one up from Swappa for ~$700. Until then, my Note 20 Ultra remains the best phone on the market, even though my aging battery is starting to struggle to make it through a full day... I may just put a new battery in it and rock this baby for another 2 years haha
Battery, camera, water fold 2 has a chance. I really wanted an ultra fold with larger battery and ultra cameras,
Well I had placed a pre-order for the ZFold 6 and Watch ultra which I have canceled today as I was not wanting the Samsung experience just love the Pixel too much. I am hoping that the Pixel Fold 2 will be a step up from the already brilliant Pixel Fold which I am sure it will be just concerned about the screen crease and new design.
Just bought the fold 5, as a replacement for my Surface Duo 2 (people can't hear me or I not them in calls and the battery doesn't hold a charge as good anymore)
Got it with my carrier contract for a €280 down payment. Also looked at the Fold 6, but had to pay €1000 with my carrier contract. So the fold 5 was a no brainer 😉
I can buy the Z fold 6 for $600 plus my Z Fold 5 ($440 trade-in value). This includes $1200 credit plus $220 instant savings off the 512GB price of $2020.
Deal or rip-off?
Was one of them who thought why not top camera and bump in battery this year...
But now after few days on F6 they did solid job and the small things you notice.
But i would buy it on the new design itself, and around here they go for like 2500$ so Apple and Samsung is expensive phones and could easy scale the price down some. :)
Not with a Samsung produced Tensor chip... They just aren't nearly good enough. The only way Google could've made Pixels truly competitive with Samsung produced Tensor chips, would be to cut pricing by around $150 for slabs and $200-$300 for foldables.
You know. I'm not even mad anymore at the z6 design. Samsung isn't going to leave the hotdog design. And ppl keep saying it'd the design over and over (and it is) but so is every other phone (foldable and slab). Moto has released the same flip 3 years in a row now. Vivo, huawei/honor also have released the same phone for different generations. The only thing they do that I wish samsung would do is UPDATE THE CAMERAS. I mean it's not like Apple with shipping the a15 iPhone 13 2 years in a row and calling it the iPhone 14 but daggum Samsung. If Google puts some real telephoto on the 2, I'm jumping ship
I think this was a good update. They have now fixed most of the things that frustrated me with my Fold 2
* Finally a hopefully useful front display
* They have finally fixed the weight so it won't pull my pants down
* It is dust resistant (which is the reason my fold 2 died)
So if this would have come out last year, it would have finally been enough upgrades so it would have been worth upgrading from 2 to 6.
However the update is one year late and I am so happy I jumped on the OnePlus Open last year. Since it also fixed all issues my Fold 2 had and more. And from the videos I have seen the Fold 6 seams to still be a generation or two behind the Open.
So I am so curious to get an honest comparison between Fold 6 and the Open. I'm not sure Samsung will be able to beat OnePlus even if the Open is a year old now.
I find it funny that you praise the Pixel for being a "mini flagship" when at 79mm its wider than every single flagship. I think the Z Fold 6 fits that description better. It has the width of an iphone when folded, then unfolds into a tablet.
tried pixel fold twice. Love the phone, but reception at home was terrible. Have never had reception problems with any other brand phone. I would love to try pixel fold 2 if I knew that wouldnt be an issue
samsung keep outer display ratio because they want the phone can be hold with one hand while it folded
Potential downside with Pixel 2 is that weight is likely not coming down much given it's getting larger.
It's coming down
@@scaryifliteralDo we have any idea how much? Or any details on screen brightness?
I have a Z Food 6 preorder, trading in my Z Fold 5 I'm right at $600 for the 6. But I really prefer my Pixel Fold to the Z Fold. I'm really curious about the Google trade in offers, but I i feel like, at this point, I'm going to return my Z Fold 6 and order the Pixel Fold 2 when announced. Keep my Z Fold 5 as a backup and roll with the Pixel Fold 2 as my daily.
Ive owned the fold 2 3 and 4, and havnt had a need to upgrade since the changes have been so minimal since the jump from 2 to 3. I preordered the 6 for my wife but im holding out for pixel this time. Im sick of this tiny outer screen and outdated cameras.
I cancelled my order for zfold 6. Just didn’t really move me in the end
An S Pen like device would be killer
I feel that Samsung just released the fold 6 just get more life and $$$ out of this old form factor. They clearly have the ability to do more as demonstrated with the "Fold Slim" which is likely going to be their major headline update release next year when they finally put this form factor to rest.
And everything that Sammy unveiled is Google. 😮😂
Depends, if Google decided to release Pixel Fold in more countries and not with a $2000 price tag then yes
The only price leaks we have right now indicate it's going to be the same price as last year.
I will absolutely get the Pixel Fold 2 aka Pixel 9 Pro Fold. However I bought the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Global - which I believe is the best foldable currently. The hardware is awesome; the software is 'ok'. Normally I would have bought the Z Fold 6 - not this year - minimal upgrades and still a small cover display.
Pixel fold 2 has to have HDMI out with a Google desktop mode for me to be open to it.
I feel like people forget what makes these phones unique: The inner screen. So they can add all of these bells and whistles but i hope they improve the inner screen. One plus open's screen is pretty darn good.
The biggest thing pixel fold 2 needs to do, it needs to not feel worse than the "pro big screen" flagship. It needs to run beside it and not below it or the extra price tag will never be worth it.
I have the Z Fold 3 because the front screen on the Z Fold 6 is still to small, ill wait until Next Year or just buy the Galaxy Ultra 25, Samsung has went stagnant on the Fold Series.
I want the Pixel Fold 2 but it comes down to price and if Pixel Fold 2 is sold in Canada. I ain't going above and beyond to get one.
I love the pixel fold form factor. But im open for the fold 2 change. I left samsung at the fold 3 cuz they made no real life use change for me. Cant wait to see what the pf2 have to offer. This 1st one is dope to me
I’m hoping that Google will put their flagship cameras from the Pixel 9 Pro into the Pixel 9 Pro Fold! Otherwise they cannot name this new Fold “Pixel 9 Pro Fold” When you look at the big camera bump it actually can be this way, and it hopefully will be this way! I’m already sold my Pixel Fold, just waiting for the new Fold to be launched. I’m really not interrested in the Galaxy Z Fold6! I love all your content, keep on doing this Shane! Thanks and greetings from Arnhem, The Netherlands.
I have been holding onto my s22 ultra, waiting for the right momento to upgrade for any of the z folds, but every time that they come out, it's always the same thing, no major improvements, just little tiny detail. My s22 ultra, a 2.5 year old phone, takes better picture than the zf6, charges faster than the zf6, the battery probably last longer than the zf6, and has an integrated s pen. Samsung is going to loose many of its costumers. I'm definitely going to wait for the pf2 and make the switch.
I actually think that the Tensor G3 is a great processor. I find that my pixel 8 pros battery is stellar (regularly get 10+ hours of SOT) and is plenty fast for what i need it to do. If the G4 is more efficient and slightly faster id be extremely happy. Currently waiting to see the 9 pro fold before i decide to go samsung or google for my first fold as I get really good deals with work
Not gonna lie...I was skeptical of the fold 6 until I saw that pink joint. The OnePlus Open just does more. No new cameras, same battery, same charging speeds...I'm impressed they got it to the open's weight with no leather back but...I just don't know...they mostly can't keep up with the open...the pixel fold 2? Looks like it could be an entirely different beast. It's a wait and see moment but...the open is still the king until we see what Google does.
I can say it did leave the door open for me. I'm in the market for a folding phone this year, and seeing Samsung not really make any changes, I will not be pre ordering. Now I've decided to wait and see what Google has to offer.
Going from fold 2 to a fold 6 so I'm excited
Huge upgrade
They left the door open for the OnePlus Open, not just the pixel fold 2 or OPO 2. Just for the crease and camera quality compared to the OPO
3:08 Sketch image that generate to Ai art, now this feature is definitely awesome 👍🏾. This image will make a good impact on the public minds. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾 10:16 It appears that Samsung did leave a big gap for the Pixel fold to come through and shine. That remote concept for a cover display will deter the fussy people like me who will fuss over the poor design of certain phone form factor. Samsung are willfully remaining in the lackluster realm of things.
I think this made by google event in August is the reason why the google io event was boring. I can’t wait for this event. 😊🎉❤
I think that once you look at build quality, performance, hardware and software, overall the Fold will still come out on top. But I'm hoping another phone proves me wrong, this kind of competition is usually good for us consumers.
Let’s be honest, all the Pixel devices have been incremental upgrades as well.
The Pixel Fold will also be a small upgrade.
Fully depends on the Price. $1650 then yes. (Wishful Thinking).
The fold 6 needed a bigger front screen, bigger battery , the dark corning non reflective glass, s pen outer screen, it was alright but incremental and I might wait until fold 7 or fold 6 slim. The software is excellent but the hardware needs work . I might get the book 4 pro 360 laptop or tab s10 instead. Its true Honor is winning w Huawei, Xiaomi , One Plus and Vivo. Its strange because thr s24 ultra has good hardware
I just really wanted updated cameras. I'm fine with everything else. I had a Fold and OP Fold and sent the One Plus back. I liked it, but the software was "meh" for me.
Lol you sent the superior phone back😅
@@AM-wi6zo you're certainly entitled to your opinion.
Only tangentially related to the subject but the fact Samsung shipped the S23U with only 8GB of RAM(considering the S21U shipped with 12) is making me a little nervous for how well it'll be able to keep up in the next year or two.
Thats a really funny tidbit about the s23u, the fact that theres 12gb ram variants but the base storage ones got 8gb. The used market rarely highlights this too.
My Note 10+ from 2019 base storage was 256gb and came with minimum 12gb. Samsung going backwards sometimes.
Not too long ago, you could get a free top of the line cell phone for signing a 2 year contract with your carrier. Now they're up to $2,000. 😢
I've been waiting since the first fold released for them to add the same camera as the S24 ultra line and the same screen of the ultra to the outer screen and putting the S pen inside the phone I said when they added I'd buy one
but now they've had 5 new ones and still haven't done any one of those things I like the pixel fold 1 outer screen better than the fold 5s I haven't seen the fold 6 outer screen yet but doesn't look to be any better than last years if the Pixel fold 2 leaks are true I might trade my s24 ultra in for it
I was going to go for the Fold 6 but then decided to wait until the Pixel Fold 2 releases in August. I hope Google won't disappoint us like Samsung did. Fingers crossed!
Samsung really running out of ideas or just doing the absolute minimal now days and only care about profit
The Fold 6 does have a new UW sensor, btw.
barely lol
Where can I buy that shirt?!
Target
Pixel Fold 2 will have users who want actual tech upgrades who are coming from new phones like ZF5. First timers or old devices users it's hit or miss either way, yes; but Google's trade in values will ultimately cause it not to crush the Galaxy in my opinion.
While I want to wait to see the pixle fold 2 has to offer I almost feel like I have to go with the z fold just simply because I can get $1100 trade in right now for my z fold 4 if I pre order from Samsung if Google came out now and said they would give a offer like that right now for my trade in I would definitely wait and go with the pixel fold 2 but I don't have much time to take advantage of that offer from Samsung smh lol
Pixel fold form factor is something I hate. Especially when you open it's too wide. That's why it isn't that popular.
That's literally the thing the vast majority of Pixel Fold users cite as the main reason they bought it lol.
@@scaryifliteral and for everyone who didn't bought it (more people) it was a reason not to buy it. The form factor is just simple weird. And of course in combination with the poor software experience and app optimalisation.
Was on board with everything you said until claiming the pixel fold outdoes the galaxy fold. Everyone knows about those garbage tensor chips!
Almost 2 grand for a phone is insane. Plus, that damn front screen is still too narrow and small for me. I'm going to wait and see how the Pixel Fold 2 is going to be and if it's worth upgrading I'll get that one.
The problem here is people seeing foldables as just "phones"
Don't get me wrong I'm 100% with you in terms of price point, I think Samsung need to be chucked off a bridge for sheer greed and complacency, but at the same time I am somebody who uses the Fold as a mini computer which is possible thanks to the large screen. I edit videos, handle multiple browser windows and excel sheets as well as photo editing as I am a cinematographer and a photographer. I have managed to survive comfortably without a laptop for years because this form factor allows me almost the same productivity as on my old desktop and laptop.
Even when making CZcams videos I have a large canvas to draw and create visual concepts of each shot and storyboards to document my thought process comfortably which you can't do as easily on a regular phone like the S24 Ultra due to the smaller screen size.
@@peacelove8395 Believe me brotha, you are a very rare exception. I use a Surface DUO 2 and doing those tasks you are doing on that device, which has a wider screen, still sucks. LOL.... I am ready to upgrade my DUO 2, but I'm just very matriculas on choosing a device. Those tall narrow screens suck, and I have big hands, so I definitely want something wide like the DUO 2. Perhaps the new Pixel will fix that for me.
Fold 6 front screen is finally wide enough..not everyone wants a massive phone
@@mrkring1526 yeah but us guys with regular sized hands can't use it comfortably. That's why a lot of people wanted a wider screen

I don't trust Google especially when it took them forever to implement features to the pixel fold that were present on the Z series and other foldable phones.
A great trade-in on the Fold 1, a better camera (low-light), significantly faster charging, and better battery life.
I upgraded my fold 4 after having it for a year and got the 5........I won't be doing that with the 6. I can't believe they have the same cameras.......again! Fold 4, 5 and now 6. Ridiculous for the price and I wish the s pen worked on outer screen as well.
