his idea is literally hot garbage lol
Oh shit I didn't GET IT! THank you!
@@NeoN-PeoN rude for no reason. i wrote that comment on pain killers
@@jessi2077 LOL, no, I was not being sarcastic. I actually didn't catch it. For real.
@@NeoN-PeoN oh my bad. I just assume everyone on the internet is sarcastic ❤️
@@jessi2077 you’d usually be accurate in your assumptions…we’re all monsters
"Are we selling lamps or are we selling light" is a hell of a Don Draper line
"And it isn't just light. It's... sitting on a sunny beach as a kid while on vacation. It's the light that sits over your booth at that restaurant where you first fell in love. It's God... telling you... 'you'll never be alone.'"
@@DannyHouk EPIC 🤣😆
@@DannyHouk I can't believe this isn't a line from the show.
Until they fist-bumped, I was convinced those other three employees were just stock footage.
lol I thought they were shot on a diff day lol. that older lady killed it.
Same
Maybe they shot with those actors for half an hour? Got some shots of them laughing and stuff, one fist bump. The rest they did by themselves.
Hahaha same, I was like "they look so generic, they must be stock footage"
Me too 😂
I love how everyone is on board with the idea that keeping trash WARM is somehow going to reduce the stink.
If it ain't broke
Don't fix it !
I checked the numbers….and got 3.5….so it should work.
I love how you explained the whole skit in case we didn't understand it.
The power of peer pressure on a mind that is unable to think critically.
it's gotta keep warm so it doesn't go bad tho
this is how it feels to be right in an argument and still lose
Trueeee
Exactly
"I'm so glad you asked" after all that discomfort was hillarious
Y’all have struck gold hahaha this is the revival of early CZcams sketch comedy
Yeah without being problematic and racist haha
@@marytaylor9001 Oh my God, the weakness is palpable.
Don't use "y'all" please.
@@clvrswine but why?
@@clvrswine maybe don’t tell someone how to speak. Do you go up to every southerner and tell them not to say that? I’m not even from the south but it’s kind of authoritarian to tell someone what words they can or can’t say online, hahah. 😂 like why?
2:09 Jon goes for his second fist bump; is denied. Brilliant, subtle physical comedy. My absolute favorite.
I didn't notice the second one
this sketch gorgeously illustrates how to be right when you dont know fucking shit, it's perfect. people who do know what they are talking about are easily ousted by this strategy.
And that fully sums up the years 2016-2020.
Well it's not really being right. It is being manipulative. But to the stupid there is no difference.
@@sablebrown4139 it sums up the people who were peer pressured over those years into believing an effective president was somehow only hot garbage
Absolutely, they have done a bunch of scientific studies, groups of people think that the person who is most confident is right, not the person with the most logical argument. Humans are ridiculous.
This is how underqualified people get promotions
Bullying someone instead of responding genuinely to their criticism - such a relatable experience
Seems like an old “hardly working” sketch I love it

The acting in this is so strong, these guys are going to make movies together one day. Mark my words.
Well they're already on SNL, so yeah
Never stop stopping, I will say
I hope so
They actually _are_ making a movie! They even have some of the recent SNL cast members on there!
@@RavenclawNimbus with Judd Apatow producing!
The brilliance here isn't just the absurdity of the presentation, but the fact that if the product was approved, people would buy it.
They wouldn't though
@@olemew In the sketch they would though.
@@RavenclawNimbus So you agree with me.
In the real world people wouldn't buy it, unlike OP suggested. And that was not the point of the video anyway.
@@olemew I thought OP was saying how it was funny that in the _sketch_ they would buy it. Gotcha
binge-watching these thanks to SNL - best one I've seen yet
This reminds me of that scene in Idiocracy where Joe is trying to convince the members of the cabinet to use water on plants instead of Brawndo.
It's got what plants crave!
You mean like the water in my toilet??
but Brawndo has electrolytes!...
“I paid attention during your presentation!”
“No you didn’t, you were playing a video game!!”
“Not true, I didn’t know how to play it...”
I can’t believe it took them so long to get jobs with Lorne...
They're like 19 years old and have 9 videos. How quickly do you think Lorne *should* have found them? 😂
@@DanCicala Very true. I think SNL was very smart in scooping these guys up while they still “only” had like 50k subs…they are destined for greatness whether on TV or YT…and I don’t know if they would have jumped for SNL if they already had like 500k subs. Which I think they could have easily gotten if they increased the frequency of their uploads
@@p1nkfreud Most of their videos are old, these guys have been cranking for years. To only have +/- 50k subs, with their level of genius, is nothing. They needed SNL to get them the exposure they need to get to that 500k mark. If they were going to get there on their own, they would have by now. Hopefully SNL is the right direction for them. I hope they stay in tact creatively.
@@DanCicala Their dads were writers on SNL so I don't think Lorne had to find them.
@@p1nkfreud I'm glad they got on SNL. I think it really upgraded the quality of their videos.
I am ashamed that I have pulled this trick more than once at a meeting. I mean yeah, it's a smaller scale, but I have definitely underprepared and simply appealed to the humor of the people I am presenting to.
Once back in highschool I was woefully underprepared for a history presentation. I made sure to go second or third to last so that we didn't have much time left but others had to go. I put all the stuff I knew first and purposefully ranted, making it entertaining but slow. The teacher asked me to shorted up since we were running out of time and *took that advice to heart.* With approval, I completely skimmed over all the things I didn't study and as soon as I got to the citations slide I apologized for taking too much time and went right to my seat.
@@ronnoc5278 Did you get a good grade?
Why is redhead dude such a good actor. His facial expressions are better than any movie actor
The boss when he fist bumps over everything
LOL there is always that guy who fist bumps way too much.
"Just don't scream and then it will sound better" 🤣
This is like my anxiety dreams.
wow, caught myself miming eating cereal out of the trash with the execs too! powerful stuff
This is EXACTLY how I imagine Sharper Image comes up with some of their product ideas
Please someone name their band Tin Foil Garbage Can. Good logo and set design potential.
You guys never disappoint.
the girl at the end is an underrated actor. Wahhht... is it?
1:47 The clap and fist pump kills me. So proud of himself 😆
The scene at the end is kind of eerie to me - the sketch doesnt end on a joke just a hauntingly realistic scene of somebody giving an okay christmas gift and its obviously awkward for everyone involved lmaoooo
Bro's nervous procrastination before barfing out his presentation on the fly is my every school and work nightmare.
I have three tin foil garbage cans in the home, and they do protect your trash from microwaves and cell phone radiation, but sometimes during electrical storms they pick up coded military transmissions.
I'm just glad he's having a good set with nothing prepared
Please Don't Destroy is my new favorite thing on SNL, always hilarious.
The moms acting is spot on
We absolutely need a part two of this with more pitches
Doing a sound test without a microphone is hilarious
The best actors in this were in the closing scene.
this is a deleted succession scene
the entire time i kept thinking "wait is there a trash can kept stuff cold is that like a thing" and it is and it's sold by sharper image
perfection lads
I have rewatched this video way too much this week. Comedy gold
I have literally no memory of this channel at all, but this is good!
It must’ve been a PhillyD secret link, because I too am baffled as to when I subscribed to this channel.
Still funny though so...
idk how this channel isnt massive
Please don’t stop making videos theyre so good!!
"Just don't scream and it'll sound better" LOL
I love this. It had a real I Tim Robinson ‘ I think you should leave’ vibe.
Martin's cocky "Thank you very much" walk-off is gold
"The garbage cans refrigerated since that's where the food goes"
Its criminal this channel doesn't have more subscribers.
This sketch is straight up like something from I Think You Should Leave. It's that hilarious
You guys are OG Jake and Amir fans and I can feel it.
Good call. I can see it now you've said it
That and hardly working
This is true of many staff meetings!
The deliberate choice not to show the tin foil garbage can gave me blue balls
That fist bump was hilarious
The missed bump was even better
The Herlihy nod. Glad to see they are fans of the show they’re writing for.
That’s his actual last name. His dad is Tim Herlihy
@@fortnitevision4240 ooooooo ok. Not it all makes sense
I love the part where John and the old lady fist bump! 🤣
Ben Marshall human god
Glad you guys made it on SNL bcuz I don't know that I would have ever heard of you guys. But I'm happy I have great work I've been dying laughing watching all your videos
The trash is going bad because it's cold. Great.
this reminds me so much of the IT crowd for some reason and I love it 🎉
Please make more vids. Sending this to all my friends who eat cereal from the trash
I see the Fanta execs have moved into other verticals.
This sparks joy
good to see you guys back
Mad men level writting, emphasising the boss's remarks and belittling the coworker
You guys are mixture of WKUK and The Kids In The Hall. Love it.
when did you guys start saying that
very tim robinson/ITYSL and Stella but the world needs more of it so keep it up boys.
Sharper image and sky mall has the solution to problems no one has ever has. That is true.
YESitdoesi’mkeepingthetrashWARMsoitdoesn’tgoBADandgetCOLDandstarttoSTINK.
this was beautiful
The lock stock and two smoking barrel poster 👍
fantastic job excellent video love it very very good
love this
I really thought it would be a disposable can so you can crunch up all your trash into a tin foil ball and save space but trash does have a tendency of getting cold…
The end is the best part
This is the most I Think You Should Leave they’ve ever been and I’m so here for it
His Australian accent kills me every time
Dumpster fires are like the evolved pokemon of tin foil garbage cans
So, turns out, hot garbage smells worse. You're fired.
WAIT....50 k subs and this much production value ??? WTF MAN...Oh they went to HARVARD, and here we are i guess.....
It's been 84 years...
Lol 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 this is me at work and living on the edge 🤣 😂 😅 😆 🙃
Why is the aspect ratio 7:4 or something weird like dumping all your milk in the trash?
this is so accurate
the seeds right here, of the new version of the office
This is excellent
"alroight, roger that" *awkward smile* hahahaha
I get workaholics vibes from them I love it haha
isn't that the fanta team??
Stand down Herlihy
Every school presentation ever
So good
they are keeping SNL alive.
pitching hot garbage lmfao
Geometry Dash refferences are quite rare
Pitching hot garbage
The funniest part was the choice to not spend 30 seconds making a tin foil garbage can for the video.
This product is totally going to change the way my trash stinks. Thanks Please Don't Destroy.
Big Tim Robinson vibes 👌
the jokes don’t land! Crash landing lol 😂
This reminds me of The Grapist, the one guy versus everyone else.
