    Iv always wanted to do this! I would hope however you could lower these and stiffen the suspension and put some smaller grippier wheels and tires make it corner well and hook!

    • @RoadsUntraveled

      Considering the power, height, and tire profile it actually corners fairly well. Just the power-on that's a bit touch and go haha

    Replace the front lower control arm bushings with spherical bearings and it will eliminate 90% of the torque steer issues on that great little sleeper! ❤❤

    I built a 250k 2jz tiny turbo swapped 4x4 4runner with 250k and with auto trans. Can shift to 4x4 on the fly. Super budget project but waxing v8s and mild built hondas is an absolute blast. Cant wait to get my hands on some 5.29s and a 100 shot.

    The CR-V needs stiffer springs and stiffer dampers including it need to be tracked correctly so when it launching from a roll or from a stationary stop the weight transfer should shift to the back to get all the traction it needs but the stock suspension causes the sway on the road when throttle is opened only recipe for crashing or getting out of control

    So sweet. I’ve always wondered if this was a thing, i mean everyone yanks the engine and drivetrain out of these for eg hatches so… why not just turbo it as it is? Lol probably a blast to blow the doors off of frs and 350 z’s in this haha. In a straight line of course.

    Maybe a small amount of camber. Stiffer rear suspension with thicker anti roll bar will help steering control

  • @tylerstickle2957
    @tylerstickle2957 Před 10 měsíci

    It would probably be more stable if it was front wheel drive as it would be spinning and not pulling as hard and all the pull would be in the front and not the entire car. What you're experiencing is the entire chassis twisting and turning rather than than the majority being in the front. Also it's probably starting to crab walk/lose traction and its stock height so it's meant to be bouncier for comfort which doesn't help stability at all. Just had to put my thoughts in when I heard you say it'd be undrivable because I think other than spinning it would probably be less twisty feeling
