The only democratic I ever voted for. Jimmy Carter. A man of integrity. Just what we needed after the Nixon problems. I wanted a Christian in office and his wife is so lovely. Btw, if your traveling from say Florida to Tennessee ( my home state ) ..it’s not a very far drive to Plains Ga. They have a beautiful B&B they built and on the weekend President Carter teaches Sunday school.

It's my 1st time seeing this video. My mother used to take care of a lady named Ms. Jessie Harris. She took care of her until she passed away a few years ago. Her and her family lived in Campton Ga. ( Walton county ) The Harris family were friends with Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Carter. In Ms. Harris' house she had some pictures hanging in the hallway of Jimmy Carter and his wife with the Harris family. I love this video and I'm glad I came across it. They truly are some of the most wonderful people. The food looked delicious !! Thank you for sharing this video with us !!
I met the Carters in DC years ago at the Caring Awards. Such nice people they were.

President Carter has said in his hometown he prefers to be called Mr Jimmy or Jimmy. He only really uses Mr President for formal events when he is with the other presidents or political functions
