*DISCLAIMER: everyones ignoring disclaimers I put in the video and the description of the video but like I said these choreographies arent necessarily done ENTIRELY by Kiel but this video is only focused on him and the songs he has participated in choreographing! Choreographies are usually made by multiple people, it's not always a one person job. And yes Parris Geobel is a main choreographer for some of these songs BUT he was listed as assistant/co choreographer and that's why they're included, I even put AS/CO in those specific parts of the videos. 😭
People just like to complain, Kiel and Kyle and Parris all work in the industry and have worked together on many projects. People never read then proceed to attack like its your fault. IDIOTS most of them, I thought it was well put together and took some series time in editing. WELL DONE

that's not entirely on him. he just does his job and then the companies themselves stitch together the final choreos using the parts they like from all their commissions. it's how a lot of kpop songs are written and arranged as well.
I noticed that JYP is more detailed than YG is more catchy yet repetitive. I think he depend it on the company’s accent.
right he does way better with jype idk maybe it’s because they have bigger groups? but literally itzy is five members so i have no idea

YG has a focus on performing while JYP gg are more dancers than performers, hence the more complex choreos. Others also mentioned how the choreos aren't fully by him which explains how even within a company where everyone focuses on the same he can make really good choreos like Ice Cream, Forever Young, DKWTD, Alien and then take part in monstrosities like Ddu-Du Ddu-Du and Pretty Savage.

I think his choreos shine more even he's allowed to be a bit more intricate and ambitious, which I think groups like twice and itzy let him do. Although, he has managed to create some of the most iconic simple 'point' moves ever, so I could be wrong. Also, he did crazy!? I love that choreo so much.

Most of twice choreography or other groups with many people involved are more on being clean and precise while on smaller groups it focuses more on easy and catchy moves

His TWICE dances are the best choreographed ones in my opinion. His choreographies for YG artists and others seem stiff to me for some reason although he has nice memorable moves (if you know what I mean?)

but he was still part of it, some of it is still his. that's why I put the disclaimer that any song in this video doesnt mean he choreographed all of it, just anything he's participated in.

I hope you can understand that ps's whole choreography is boring expect some part. yg dance crew changed the 90% of the choreography. he mad not shy, icsm, so bad, m&m , fs etc which has great choreographies,
It's probably because he was in a large dance crew but he does a lot better with bigger groups or solos with a lot of backup dancers. I love BP but the BP group choreos are his weakest since it's usually only the four girls.
Edit: has nothing to do with catchiness, or memorability. Catchy/views =/= complexity. Never said it was a bad thing, either. YG has never prioritize complex choreography until Treasure. Personally, choreo is the least important aspect to a performance. But looking at his work objectively, he has better choreo for bigger groups or artists with a big number of backup dancers. That's his forte. He comes from a group that is famous for their intricate large ensembles, so scaling it all down to a 4 people group is challenging. To make it harder, YG rarely give the girls backup dancers. If they do have them it's generally for the last 20 seconds of the song. Also I didn't say BP's choreo are easy, but they're not that complex either. Any group could pull off the moves for any BP songs; however, what BP delivers that isn't easy to replicate is stage presence and performance. All in all, I stand by my comment. Imo BP's choreo are good but not his strongest.
i disagree, he made most of BP's greatest hits especially their harder choreos like Don't Know What to Do and Forever Young, and by greatest I mean catchiest. he also did Bang Bang Bang which even before getting into kpop I knew. I think he's the king of catchiness or at least making the song given the best it could be

@@bangtwicepinktv9417 they should remember that blackpink is a girl groupe that dance in high heels, and Jennie have a weak stamina ( she said herself that she’s not very strong physically), so he won’t give them strong choreography so that they will keep up. Nothing against bp, but I would hate for them to have hard moves when they were uncomfortable clothes and heels.

gosh, 2NE1's SWAG will just never ever be able to be duplicated. The way they were CLEARLY doing choreo like of girl groups (because they all seemed to be using the same choreographer) but they made it theirs. And it's not even like they were particularly hitting/going as hard as dancers, but they carried themselves in such a way that it was like even if they whiffed a step here or their you go the impression that they COULD hit the choreo hard, but weren't because they were too cool. LOL No girl group or boy band will ever be able to imitate that, which makes me sad tbh.

His choreography for YGAs are more that they can do adlibs and big movements that look good on stage esp when they have high level stage presence and could bring out their swag and YG style. YG prefer simple and big choreos cuz YGA dont stick to choreos on stage they hop and do their thing on stage all the time 😅 they prefer simple choreos as they always sing live since debut, they like to play and party on stage
While his choreos on other artists are more detailed, precise and requires sync and sharpness.
Its a must for the choreographer to know well who he will choreographed to, its not okay if he choreographed the same way in different groups....

The difference between the blackpink twice and itzy dances is yg has multiple people working on on dance and when its all put together their backup dances do somethings to it to make it easier for the group honestly that's why their dances are so repetitive now it was better before when it was just one person doing the choreography
