i thought the demo fancy was kinda cute, it had much more of a happy summer vibe to it
the demo for beginning of psycho is so good like WOW and the official chorus is so elegant I can't pick a side
the demo song they sent to Mina was in English and it's more hip hop sense that's why the demo came out that way, i like it tbh
That means you loved the song, so much it doesn't matter what the choreography is....
The demo has a lot more hip-hop influence to it and has a less sophisticated sound, which would explain why the demo dance has a lot more hip hop influences as well
Agreed i think it would have been a different vibe but just as good. The official choreo uas a simpler yet eerie feel to it while the demo was more powerful and elegang but i love both omg

I love how for Psycho, both demo and official choreography works. The demo it's much more sexy and groovy/swag like, and pretty much girl group like, it could have worked if Psycho's concept was more like Bad Boy's concept, more girl power kind of thing. But since it's more elegant and kinda "cold" looking, I prefer their official version. It's different from what's usually made in kpop.

The demo version was so good and more focused on the dance. The official version works too since it makes it easier to sing while doing the choreo.

The most interesting change for me was Dreamcatcher's choreo for Scream. It was clearly changed to fit their concept, as the demo version was much more of a sexy vibe when compared to the final version...and Dreamcatcher doesn't do as much sexy as they do punk rock :)

I think they didn’t use the demo of Pick Me as more of the Japanese trainees would’ve placed in lower classes as it’s harder.
Zach Producer actually the demo looks a lot easier (yes I’ve learned the official choreo) the official one has a lot more details

I liked that first part of the Demo for Psycho, however the official makes more sense, the movements are more controlled and sharp.
I am not sure if it would fit the vibe of the song, but I personally like the demo version of the dance so much more, it would really amaze me and would make me want to learn the dance instantly, while the other version is cool, but it hadn't have this effect on me

It's because the choreographer got the demo version (which was a more hard hitting song than the original) since Red Velvet didn't record the official one yet
sis i remember the demo but i still feel like this are more hip moves rather than a soft pop song, if you know what i mean. the original song is definitely deeper but it’s still pop, the hard moves don’t fit well
i disagree, i see what u mean but i personally feel like the official choreo was a bit forgettable in comparison to the demo version, while there were some parts of the demo choreo that i felt didnt suit the official i still personally prefer it bc there was more. personality maybe? to the choreo. but the girls still added so much to the official choreo and it was by no means Bad or anything, just kinda sharing my perspective

I liked Psycho a lot better in the official version!! The demo is awesome, but gives me the wrong vibes. I love the elegance and the movements way better in the original. It just fits better for me.
Well the demo choreography for fancy isn't actually like that. You can check up Kiel Tutin for the original demo choreography.

The dance demo of phyco they showed. the choreographer said that she was given the demo version of the song to use because i think rv hadn't recorded the song yet. That's why the dance was more hard hitting cuz the demo song has heavier beats in them.
The choreographer originally released the version with the demo song but later on dubbed it over with the rv song.

It’s not a demo. It’s an official choreography by the dance group
Y’all always remember that demos are meant to include as many key moves as they can too (even if it’s a bit much) so the official dance teacher/company choreographer/members that choreograph can simplify it for the perfect stage!

i know most of the korean dance studios that were shown to do the demos but there's a lot of (famous) choreographers from overseas who also choreographed lots for K-Pop Groups. That would be also interesting to see in a video :)
