A good & understandable instructional video with illustrations. Wish more people who try to show / teach things, via videos, could make videos like this. Maybe that could be another 'side hustle' - how to make good instructional videos.
I personally don't like CZcams videos for instructions and would rather read an online manual. I am an impatient person so my videos are geared toward what I would want in a video. Thanks for the appreciation

Can you elaborate more about the homing cycle, I am building Acro with NEJE 40W and I would like to have my limit switches at the bottom left corner and have soft limit. This G53 G92 local and Global thing is very confusing.

I had to flip text jobs vertically to make them engrave correctly, can you please tell me what I did wrong?
$3 is the register for flipping directions. Try typing in $3=1 in your console.
I’m trying to engrave on bamboo cutting boards. I was very successfull last year. Set it aside for a while when I went back to work. Now I need to burn for Christmas and I can’t get a good solid burn no matter what I do. Ack! Any help is appreciated. 6550 15w laser.

My machine connected easily at first buy it is not connecting anymore at all.
I've been following ur steps.. and I have also ensured drives is installed, machine cable I changed to brand new USB cable, and I tried on 3 different laptops ensuring correct com and driver installed. Ive restarted computer. Ive reinstalled software after removing from scratch..But for some reason it still doesn't connect. Do u have any tips for me

Thanks for posting. I got a laser off a friend who could not get tit running. I have it up and running, but the Z axis only goes 1 direction when using either arrow. Any thoughts? If I reverse the Y1 and Y2, it just goes in the reverse direction. I tested in LightBurn and it is the same so I am assuming its a hardware or working issue tho everything looks correct best I can tell
is my TOPQSC laser compatible with Laser GBRL?
I don't have a homing thing and I don't really want to add one as I'm only wanting to do small projects how do I set it do it's not trying to breakout the frame?

I'm having issues with double lines in lasergrbl...file created in fusion360 ..exported into dxf , opened in illustrator cc and export as PNG file but in grbl v5.4.0...in the vectorize feature.....its giving me double lines

HELLO! I have the Nasum A5 PRO and it is stuck in Connecting mode. I have downloaded and switch to COM7 which is what my port is. I have the 1.1f code showing with all the other codes. However, I'm stuck in Connecting status. What should I do? using the GRBL System for now on PC
How did you figure out it has the 1.1F Firmware??
How much volts and amperes are you providing to yoour machine. My motors are not moving quite swifty

Hi this is Aftab from Pakistan. I am watching your GRBL Tutorial 1 here at Top there is COM you were using COM28 but I am confused here what does it mean ? I have conected my Engraver with my system but its not active please guide me thanks.
Yours may be a different COM. What machine do you have??

Not all lasers have homing. YOu can force try it by typing in $H in to the console and hitting enter.
1 Question - I use COREL DRAW and create images in any file necessary - For several years i was an "Authorized Corel Draw Training Partner" - Can I just IMPORT or OPEN a file using this software?
Not native Corel files. It has some svg support for cutting along vectors. You will probably want to export as PNG or similar bitmap and open that with LaserGRBL.

Sure.
LaserGRBL is good for engraving images on to things. If you're using your diode to cut,, you might consider LightBurn.
Do you have to connect the machine? Can I just send files to an SD card with the Creality Falcon 10W?
I see that it has the SD slot but I don't see a way to access it from the front controls. You may have to connect directly
When I start my Neje 2 that's plugged into my computer the LaserGrlb software starts to connect and then disconnects, The computer port setting shows the correct com. I don't know what is wrong
I might need to watch it in action. I know there are special drivers needed to use the NEJE lasers:

If you continue to struggle,, let me know and we'll try some other things.
You will have to download the GRBL updater from NEJE and select the first option. Then it will be able to talk to LaserGRBL and LightBurn: wiki.nejetool.com/doku.php
I recently had to switch laptops. Not my machine won't connect to it. I checked com ports, verified the driver is installed and properly working, it still won't connect. Any suggestions? Should I try changing my baud?

In laser GRBL there is an option to I stall a CH340 driver. Did you try that yet??

You mentioned that the dialog box might not have anything listed, mine does not, what do I do then without anything to select.
If plugging your machine in doesn't work,, you may need to search for drivers. My suspicion is you're missing the CH340 driver.

Can you tell me how to install Laser GRBL program on a raspberry pi?
It is very difficult. I think you can use WINE to instal DirectX and .NET frameworks,, then you can install and use laserGRBL. It's not a pretty installation though. Try LaserWeb instead??

I gave up and bought a used Windows PC solely for use with the engraver. But thank you for your reply.
I'm now waiting on an air assist pump to arrive before I use the engraver.
why my connection "handle broken "
Mine says homing fail and when i unlock it and try to manually move it it says travel exceeded. It jerks in the same spot. even when connecting it doesn't move. Literally just stays where i put it. Any ideas?
Does it travel in the right direction??
Does it move when you tell it to home??
Do you have 2-axis homing enabled in the firmware??
@@brakthehun it doesn't travel at all unless I push it with my hands lol. And not sure about 2axis homing. I just set up the laser and this was the first video I've looked at on how to connect it to lasergrbl

My Engraver is not connecting with my system. Physically it is connected but it is not working. When I klick Connect botton it beeps but not connect.
