Thanks for watching another episode. had trouble over the last fortnight finding any mangrove jacks so picked up the light spin gear and decided to try and get my mojo back on anything that swims. turned out to be my best jack session all summer. - Zábava

Hey mate if you are looking for a challenge go off kirra beach infront of the surf club couple hundred behind the breakers is the kirra reef. Get some rat kings, mackerel, cobia and heaps of other goodies.. Early morning being the best! Not very deep so surface lures are alot of fun there.

You should definitely have a crack at fishing in noosa plenty of good fish around here
If you wanna make your boat more buoyant inside the pvc put some spray expanding foam. if you do this you can move around on it without certain areas dipping down in the water
going to give you a quick physics lesson. spraying expanding foam does not increase the volume of the pipes. which is what gives it the buoyancy.

There are no secret spots... just secret times...
We were giant herring fishing and we hooked up to 15 or 20 and landed 2 but they were 55cm and 47cm
Jacks are the best eating fish out there next time drop one off to me

Yo dude, what size pipes are those, how much does it weigh without the troller & battery, and have you tested it to see how much it can float? I've been thinking about building a 4-5'×16-18' pvc pipe punt for scootin' the rivers and ponds around here.
You need to get yourself a roll of measuring tape. Leaving us hanging with the fish lengths.

yer mate i also like to use curly tala and grubz. just play around mate thats what fishing is all about. there is no one technique that will work all the time.
