- I felt terrible after seeing how bad it was for both of them. The first day of Playlist Live 2019 should be exciting and fun not scary, frustrating, and full of anxiety. For the most part it was a good day I just wish Abbie and Isaiah has a better time the whole day.

EVERY SINGLE TIME I see Isaiah in situations he just shows me how to be a better human being.
He shows us all what a wonderful guy he is, he is so impressive!

That Isiah... man. At 16, he shows more compassion, wisdom, and patience than most adults that I know. His heart is so huge and he puts Abbie's comfort and needs before his all the time including trying to let her have as normal of an experience in life from eating pizza with friends to letting her have a huge event experience. Asa and Priscilla, you are raising a truly amazing human being.

Yea, its so true. I am so glad i have watched this family. People often say kids with autism dont show love or affection. But, they do! Abbie showd it in her own way! Shr does make eye contact, she does give hugs and effection. She does her best to understand and do what is asked of her. She is such a good girl! Ive said so many times what a great brother Isaiah is. Man. If I were 17 I would be giving you a run for your money Isaiah! A loving caring good guy is worth more than gold. And as always of course Cilla and Asa. I can not say enough how great you are at being a super family. Love all of you.

I freaking love Isaiah. I don't know how old he is exactly, but I am about to be 16. He is so caring to his sister and how much he sacrifices for her. If I could find a guy half as generous, caring, and funny as him I'd be so lucky. You guys should be so proud of the way that you raised him.
Dad, I saw a young man who was raised right and would do anything to help his little sister. I am also sure that when colleges or future employers see this that it will speak volumes. If all kids his age were like him this would be an incredible world.
It's okay Asa, you are a parent. They are your kids. Isaiah is a trooper. Hes a good kid. He cares so much about his sister. You did good Isaiah!! My sister is legally blind and hangs on to me in similar situations. She gets nervous and uncomfortable. Best thing older siblings can do is be there for our sisters.

My heart broke for Isaiah but it just makes me, a complete stranger so proud of him. When a kid that age should be having fun especially at this kind of event he chooses to chill out with his sister and not only that attempts to take her out knowing it'll be difficult. What a great kid!!!

I don’t leave comments but I couldn’t let this video pass by without one. Your family does INCREDIBLE things. I had a cousin who never got a formal Dx (it was 60 years ago... they basically said “institutionalize” and my aunt said “hell no”) but to see how much Abbie is able to communicate and participate and make her needs and wants known... it makes me wish my cousin had been born at a different time. It is HUGE although I’m sure a lot of days don’t feel like it.
But Isaiah... I have kids the same age as Isaiah and Abbie, and I admit I’m a little jealous. I think my kids are pretty great, but Isaiah... He is an amazing kid (mostly that he’s willing to spend time with you all) but his empathy is going to get him so far in life. And his patience! We could all take lessons.

I just stumbled upon you guys yesterday from a Facebook post. I've worked with kids and adults with developmental disabilities for my entire professional career, and it's lovely to see someone really showing what one family's experience with Autism looks like. I think more awareness definitely needs to happen. I am super impressed with how you two both parent both of your kids and how you do your best to listen to their needs and help them in whatever ways you can, but I am completely blown away by Isaiah!! Most siblings would just shut down and be overwhelmed and completely exhausted by their sibling with autism, but Isaiah's love for Abbie shines through all of those tough moments and he rises to the occasion. I'm super glad that that other kid took notice of his love for Abbie and his effort.
Thank you for always showing authenticity...and transparency .....and realism...Isaiah is shows his love for his sister in a tremendous manner....
The convo about the guy telling Isaiah about how awesome he was doing as a brother made me tear up bc we ALL see how incredible he is as a brother, son and human being and it makes me so proud to be one of y'alls followers! Isaiah is definitely a great brother. I can't ride elevators because of how bad my SPD is, so my parents and siblings have to take the stairs with me. I really appreciate it, and I know that Abbie does, too. Autism and NT sibling relationships are a pretty conplicated thing to handle - there is often jealousy over attention and accommodations, resentment towards the limitations it places on the whole family, and even hateful ignorance. My siblings have called me an autistic sociopath, a robot, an alien, and even accused me of faking or exaggerating SPD in spite of having been diagnosed three times over with neurological and developmental disorders. Good siblings are not as common as they should be. Isaiah is really amazing - he really seems to understand Abbie and have risen to the challenges autism poses to siblings. You guys raised him right, and that kind of strength of character means a lot to the world.

I know it’s not the same. But by watching your videos I am learning to be a little more patient and happy in the hard situations. Thank you all for being yourself.

You can tell when Asa is close to tears and it instantly makes me know exactly how it is as my 6 year old with Savere Autism is the same . Even walking pasta cracks makes him keep going back to it so something that takes 5 mins can take an hour or more. Good job isiah with all your patience and go attitude. X

I love what you are doing with your channel. I work in a regular public school, I substitute all grades but my favorite jobs are when I get to work with the 3 and 4 year old kiddos on the spectrum. Many of them are non verbal, and since I am only there to help out or fill in, I don’t get to know their sign language and understand what their needs are. However, just watching you all with Abby has helped me feel more comfortable and at ease in my position. My main concern is their safety, but most of all to show them some love and help in any way I can. You have an awesome son, he has empathy, love and patience for his wonderful sister, I know you are very proud of him. All these challenges he has faced in growing up with his sister has enriched his life in so many ways. His maturity and kind heart is astounding, and handsome too!

We tell our son each day that if his heroes Albert Einstein & Isaac Newton had autism and they were able to make such impacts on people so can he.
