Nothing does not have to bring out an update, which improves Twitter performance because every Android smartphone has problems with Twitter, sometimes it doesn't run smoothly, I think it's a problem with Twitter itself

I tried the same on my Note10+ and there's only a small stutter right after opening the app. Did not have issues scrolling fast like Nothing Phone.

The issue with twitter scroll stutter and spotify load time is issue with their android app itself and not much of phone 1's fault. Twitter behaves the same on many android flagships too.

I think I've heard someone that the SD 778G is a custom made by Nothing, can't remember if its MKB or Mrwhose and tweaked to its finest optimizing the Nothing OS.
Its optimized by snapdragon itself, that is why the name of the chip is SD778G+.
Nothing officially said that during launch event.

The only difference in a normal 778g+ and the 778g+ in the nothing phone 1 is the specifically enabled wireless charging for the phone 1 which was previously not supported by the chip.

In settings of the nothing phone under developer options you can reduce the animation speed to 0.5. I think everyone should do this it makes opening apps lightning quick.

Imagine the performance of NOTHING if it came with Qualcomm 8 Gen 1.
That wouldn't affect how smooth the phone runs and feels ,but u would only notice it once u run high graphic games maybe and benchmark applications

Any chip now a days can open apps very quickly, we cannot decide a chip performance by jusy opening apps animation speed etc matters..
Raw perdomance of a chip will shows is heavy task like gaming,editing, also in future os updates, and the processors advantage will also show in video rec etc

I had the nothing phone for a few weeks, I did get the latest updates to, but I sold it last week, it just didn't do it for me, I found the ram management was really bad, speakers poor, the lights are just a pure gimmick that have absolutely no use at all, as we don't ever lay are phone down with the glass facing down on a table?? Just a gimmick, it's an OK mid range phone to be honest.
I bought the poco f4 instead, I got a great deal, bought it used, but it was only 2 weeks old, 256gb, 8gb ram for £240!
Had it a week and I absolutely love it, it has a better processor, better speakers, handles ram management much better, the poco f4 is a much better buy than the nothing phone 1.
Make a vedio of those devices Battery backup test.

Compared to my Note10+ the Nothing Phone has a better CPU. GPU wise though my Note10+ wins out. Nothing Phone is worse for gaming but the same for every day tasks.
@@teslaadverts what carries the nothing phone is the software which is very clean and not bloated like our Samsung UI. That's what carries the nothing phone, other than that it's not much powerful than a note 10.

The comparison I'm doing is using benchmark scores. In CPU the Nothing Phone scores higher. In GPU it is slightly worse.

Cos being a mid ranger, one would assumed it's performance and battery life that matters cos Camera quality is probably not that good, with exception of a Pixel a series. This phone need to be priced around 360-400 USD to compete.

Twitter just sucks on all android phones. If you are just normally scrolling you won't find it but once u just swipe fast you will see it.. it's quite annoying.

Twitter is slow and problematic for Android. Spotify always takes a long time to open for Android too. So I think nothing phone did w awesome job.
