I lake how different languages translate wordplay ham-steamed clams-hamdurgers and it makes situation even more absurd.
For me it was a real revelation to hear this in finnish, it was even adapted! This is so rare, i love this 😆🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮
Same!
12:52 Chalmers has Winter war flashbacks
Finnish is a beautiful language
The German version feels so off. I feel like due to German taking more words to express things than English does the pacing feels way faster because there aren't as many pauses which really bugged me. Also, unless I'm stupid, I'm pretty sure "Huschel" is not a word, so the pun loses some of it's value, though I understand that translating puns accurately is almost always impossible
You can't translate the joke well, the word "Huschel" doesn't really exist in German either. However, "gedämpfte Huscheln" sounds so stupid that it makes it funny again.
I love how shocked Chalmers sound in the Norwegian version after Seymour says “Aurora borealis” XD

Hungarian script
Ch - nos idetaláltam, útbaigazításának dacára!
S - á, isten hozta főfelügyelő úr, felkészült egy felejthetetlen ebédre?
Ch - igen.
S - szentésges isten! Odaégett a sültem!
Ch - miért füstölög a sütője seymour?
Ch - maguknál lóhúsból csibálják a hamburgert?
S - igen, ez egy táji szokás
Ch - milyen táji?
S - észak-new yorki
S - igen.
Ch - megnézhetem?
S - nem
Skinners mother - seymour! A ház lángokban áll!

Yeah fair
Aurora borealis?
@@justarandomguy4873no it is for COPYRIGHT REASONS(THE MIDDLE COMMENT CLEARLY MENTIONS THAT)
This better become the rosetta stone of the future
The french one sounds like they really just don't care about anything
Love Czech Skinners phew sounded like a pigeon cooing
9:45
Japanese is surprisingly solid.
Isn’t that Swedish one fanmade? By Simon Stadin on CZcams? Sweden only dubbed 10 simpsons episodes and I don’t believe this was one of them
So is Icelandic, Norwegian, Finnish and Swiss German.
Yep
The canadian french with his "ouai" like a "yeah" with a descent note is like Seymour insist on the fact a aurora borealis is the routine for him x)
in the russian version, the roast that he says is ruined is not called a roast but a completely different meal that is usually cooked in a pot, but in Ukrainian he just says meat
@@YakovP.Kompelyar Roast
I didn't notice before, but the stem on the English letter "p" is shorter than the Russian one. Interesting how precise our keyboards are lol.
🇨🇵👍🏻
I love the norwegian one!
I love Swiss German Seymour's voice.
What's the difference between Swiss German and German? Maybe it's because the German one had less quality, but I really couldn't make out most of it. Neither one sounded quite right to me, though.
@@amazingfireboy1848Well, if you are not familiar with German it might sound familiar. I‘m German but I honestly would have struggled to understand the Swiss German version if I didn’t know the actual scene.
@@jackcatman8932 Yeah, it's pretty crazy how different those languages are.
Savustetut hampparellit!
Smoked hemp parellis?! What is a hemp parellis?
You're missing Dutch fandub
Does anyone know the reason why the polish just use a translator for the characters rather than dub the show itself? It's just because this is the second time I've seen this happen with polish. I'm curious that's all.
I think it's just that some countries are used to that type of translation, they've done it like that since the beginning, so they keep doing it like that, for us in other countries it's kind of weird
@@Andy_0L Okay, that explains it then. You're right about it being weird for those who aren't used to it. I appreciate you letting me know. 👍
voice over is cheaper than dub (poland is poor ass fuk)
A magyart újraszinkronizálták volna?
Sok korai évados epizódhoz készült új szinkron, többségében ugyanazokkal a hangokkal.
Idk for sure, since I don't know much of it, but this looks a lot like Vietnamese just for the immense diacritics. I would learn it, but it's so hard for me.
Oh it's Hungarian, awesome! Maybe I should check it out. Is it fun to speak?
@@amazingfireboy1848 I'm so glad, for your interest😁
I love the idea of hearing the different dubs, thank you 😊

Waaas?? Sie nennen Hamburger gedämpfte Huscheln???
"Whaaat?? You ... hamburger ... ...???"
Probably Swiss German, but I don't know enough regular German to say for sure. What's the version of German they teach on Duolingo?
19:04 Excuse me, what?
omg
@@truiteteam3428 On a bien entendu le même truc ?

"där (dialekt) red ma/mer i dr Ostschwiz" "this (dialect) is spoken in the eastern part of Switzerland"
Hungarian
István Orosz as Seymour
Gábor Kardos as Chalmers
Seymour is voiced by Gábor Melis
How does every dub manage to say aurora borealis in a boring way
Persze, hogy magyar a föltöltő! Köszönöm szépen neki!😁
Don't be so dumb, all uploaders will always be English(Anglais) otherwise thsy would not know how to use CZcams
Oh my goodness, half the o's are ö's. That scares me for some reason lol
the finnish one is just a fandub
So are the swedish and norwegian ones, The Simpsons are'nt dubbed here.
@lehnrik I'm trying to learn finnish does this differ from regular finnish or do you think I could use it as learning material
Seems that people will get butthurt by anything these days

Immediatly shocked by the fact video is flipped, whyyyyyy 🤢

That's... not German. At least, not any German I've heard.
yyes i'm français
Mówię coś po Polsku 🇵🇱
I dont understand why you would keep the orginal audio at all. The Russian voice over version is jusr distracting.

Ukrainian Seymour so bad, 0 talent. Chalmers not bad.
It's bull*hit... Ukrainian dubbing is one of the best
