I am in the video to this! Filmed at a cold, lonely, abandoned swimming pool in Uxbridge. The band had just come back from an awards ceremony in the states and were shattered but took the time to talk to every one of us. Great memories :-)

A lot of artist are trying to make hits, people listen to their songs and then forget it.
I never get tired of Keane's songs, even after 10 years.
One of the best voices in music
Keane are not under-rated or under-appreciated. They have always been big and beautiful after Hopes & Fears rose them to stardom. People just have their own timing and moods for certain music types, music groups, and songs. What Keane have reached is nothing near underachieving. They're super talented and hardworking. It's not their choice or fault that not everybody is their huge fan like us. Keane are still superstars for me.
I feel the same way. I listen to their music everyday and I never get tired of it. Simply amazing band!

I like how the song's video focuses on the cable spinning away, like a lie slowly spiraling towards a breaking point, and how the 'protagonist' keeps finding ways to sing while winding down the cable(s). At the same time, the singer 'lies' by extending the 'cable' of lies, and ultimately, the crowd at the end acts as the lyricist himself, who says he doesn't mind that he gets lied to.
Beautiful lyrics, and imo thoughtful video. Very nice. Old Keane is so damn nice.

This band should make more great songs, two factors behind its success, powerful beautiful voice and a great talented pianist.
I feel the video is representing how the band were feeling at the time. Humble beginnings of a band that wasn't heard of nor that successful so they had to continue to strive forward and find their sound and voice before becoming much more successful and well known, as shown by the crowd gathering and dancing around their last 2 stages towards the end of the video
I make lik five band and we alawys we stop at the middle of the road they all left because no one was having the goal and vision I was looking for -they was doong that just for fun--but music is not a playsation-- sad for all the music I make

La escuché por primera vez en 2005 ya con 15 años y traté de buscarla por semanas porque el nombre no la sabía y quedé feliz. Es un honor siempre escucharla y hasta tuve el honor de escucharla en vivo en concierto en Perú en 2013. Más no puedo pedir. Gracias KEANE. Ya son 17 años desde que descubrí esta leyenda.
