I started at 64. I met Donna at the Paduch quilt show. My love of 3 yard Quilts began. And when she included 4 sizes of quilts and I didn't have to do the math, I was double hooked. ❤❤

I enjoy it when you break it down and dissect the blocks. It certainly takes away some anxiety! Thanks for the tip of sewing the half square triangles to a strip. It will definitely save time! Love the new patterns and the fabrics you chose for them!!!
Love it when you do 'pieces and parts'! Really like the patterns Glisten and Poinsettia especially in the different fabrics. I am not one for themed quilts so always good to see other fabrics. Very striking. I don't know how you keep coming up with them but you do!! The sky is the limit 😀😀💜💜

Love your patterns and appreciate your. Videos somuch. Just a suggestion though, when you do the parts and pieces segments, when using white fabric, you might consider avoid using white paper behind it.
I only buy one yard pieces of fabric. It's so much fun to shop in my stash. I have limited space and I stack my blocks as I finish each part. When the parts are all done, my big block is ready to sew together. As I connect each piece, I put a pin on the side I am supposed to sew. I lay that part back on the stack and onto the next part to attach. Before long I have a complete block. I very seldom use my seam ripper with this method of stacking.
I had purchased the poinsettia fabric a few months ago. It's beautiful. I had no idea they are poinsettias! I was going to make it for a summer quilt (queen size) using the Roman Holiday pattern. What a surprise!!
I love the stars. I am going to make this one for sure. I just finished my Liberty top so I need a break from half square triangle. These all look really easy.
Wish the paper under your pieces in star were beige or light blue because I could not see the white pieces of fabric. I get the idea but maybe a thought for next time? Love the designs though and now I need another of your books. Thanks.
I just had to order this book. I love the Irish Chain Christmas!! Was wondering if you could put a pumpkin where the center squares are? I love the way you showed us how to do the units!
It's a great pattern! Do you mean to place an appliqué or embroidery pumpkin or just pumpkin fabric? If it's just fabric, yes! Keep in mind that you will also use the same pumpkin fabric in the smaller red squares throughout the pattern unless you use a different fabric for the smaller strip assembly units. If you are wanting to do appliqué or a pieced pumpkin instead of the square, it gets more complicated to do with how the pattern is written. It could be done, but maybe with some trial and error.
The quilts are beautiful! Question: I have wet macular degeneration and reading is VERY difficult! Would I be able to figure the patterns out just by looking at step by step pictures?

I use 2 color catchers in the wash when I wash red. It'll keep it from bleeding on the white. You'll find it in the laundry section of your grocery store. I usually use the SHOUT! kind, but I'm sure others are just fine too.

That really helped when you put the white backing under your pieces. I was able to see how to assemble the quilt pieces.
The Irish Christmas block is my favorite of all your patterns. Its so flexible with many different fabrics
It really is! I could see it done as a ribbon quilt for different ribbon color months.
The first one would be beautiful in patriotic prints/colors
The watercolor poinsettia pattern at the end surprised me. That was a really easy block. I am really thankful for the way your minds work.

i cant find the kits for the yuletide quilts. ive been to the website and typed in each individual kit shown and get no results. Can you help?

We have not had any of our fabrics bleed on us. But all the ideas shared are great and can be useful if you are worried 🥰
