This is no I'll See You in Heaven, this is "Na szczycie" wchih mens "on the top". This is two diffrent meanings and titles.
The Old Testament god lived on Mount Sappho (Mons Cassius), currently Gebel el-Aqrai was supposed to gather his resurrected believers there after his death for a great feast. The concept of Heaven and Hell (Hades) is a Roman-Persian addition.

The exact translation is "On the Top" but that's not what the artist means. The video and the lyrics tell us that "I'll See You in Heaven" is a good translation. Or "In Heaven" to be precise. That is what the song is about. And the listeners should guess that Heaven is the mentioned place as of course in Poland we do not name Heaven with Na Szczycie or On the Top words... Ich bin a regular Pole from Gdańsk...
No dobra, wszyscy wiemy o co chodzi. "Na szczycie" wiążąc tematykę piosenki wnioskujemy, że chodzi o niebo bo ktoś umarł. w wersji "On the Top" anglojęzyczna osoba też domyśli si, że chodzi o niebo. Więc nadal mam rację. @@marcingoab3370
@@marcingoab3370 Of course, after the introduction of hell and heaven along with Roman-Persian influences, from the perspective of modern faith it is about heaven, but the music video itself still refers to the point of view from before these changes and shows the "paradise" on the mountain as it was once believed. Such a curiosity for those versed in the subject.
You should listen to Jamal "Policeman". I think everyone listened to it at least once in their lifetime. Kinda Polish classic.

The absolute classic of Polish hip hop scene is "Plus and minus" ("Plus i minus") by Kaliber 44.
More classic Polish rap music would be from Paktofonika like "Jestem bogiem" ("I'm a god") and "Ulotka" ("A leaflet"). Those are all songs sung by young guys growing up in difficult conditions for whom the music was a way out.

You should make a reaction video to Polish gothic band- Closterkeller. They've just celebrated their 35th years on stage and influenced Polish rock more, than people give them credit for. They have coupple of official videos. Most classic and well known songs are "Władza", "W moim kraju", "Atnieszka", "Babeluu" (my personal favourite), "Czas komety".
Damn great band, with great, female vocal. Check them out, because they are often overlooked. They've released 10 albums + 6 Concert albums/DVD's. 100% Worth checking out!

I recommend Trzeci Wymiar - "Dostosowany 2 ", "Wuff" they have great skill and extremely fast rap. The old one songs like "Skamieniali" (good text message)and "15 MC’s" - these are also great.

I recommend "Jestem Bogiem/I'm a God" or "Priorytety/Priorities" by Paktofonika if you can find translation for these as they're quite old classics in Poland and a lot of people who don't listen to hiphop heard them at least once.

Something that is very important in Polish rap. We need to exclude real rap from pop culture rap. It cannot be directly divided into "feels".
The best Polish rap is from 1980-2005, this is due to the situation in the previous period. Poverty, economic crisis, high crime rate, consent to bad behavior.
The song "Treasures - Liber x Doniu" (Polish title "Skarby - Liber x Doniu ) reflects it quite well.
Also worth listening to is "18L - how to forget" (Polish title "18L - jak zapomnieć").
True Polish rap comes directly from poverty. We have a similar mechanism here as with Niemen's song "Strange is this world". Rap is just later. It was a cry of despair to the world.
Nowadays it looks completely different and in most cases it is simply "mass production"

You should definitely watch trailer for a polish movie called "The Peasants" and also the music videos to it like "Jesień - tańcuj" or "Miłosny Opętaniec" . The movie was first recorded with actors irl and then the film frames were hand-painted by a hundred artists. They were supposed to reproduce the art of Polish realism from the 19th century. Many scenes depict real paintings, for example those of Józef Chełmoński.
Everything, music, and the landscape, paintings or the traditions they show in the movie depicts polish culture and slavic culture so well.
The movie is also based on Władysław Reymont's Nobel Prize-winning novel of the same title - The Peasants.
