When Dave said “their way” he was referring about the Metallica version (The Four Horsemen). The Mechanix was the actual title of “The Four Horsemen” but after Mustaine was fired from Metallica in 1983, they kept Mustaine’s song (Yes Dave wrote the song) And he decided to write the original version again but faster.

In case you didn't know, by "their way" he was referring to Metallica since they stole his riffs from this song and turned it into the Four Horsemen. That would be cool to see a producer compare those 2 songs back to back

incorrect the 4 horseman is another version of Mechanix, the rest of the info is correct but Mechanix was the original Metallica add a bridge and change the lyrics after Dave was fire so dave speed it up to make the song sound more trash because he just wants to make a faster band than Metallica destroy them, here the link czcams.com/video/XbRrHYUnhac/video.html

Bro went super spoiled school LOL. That's their first album. Metallica ripped him off on several songs. They also do a cover of Nancy Sinatra on that album. Seriously lol it's awesome. These Boots Are Made For Walking. That drummer and lead guitarist are both Jazz influence. They're from my home phone. Unfortunately the drummer passed quite a few years ago

AR 15 guy I know my metal. Yes Dave wrote the mechanix. He got credit for it on Kill em all. Sorry but “their way” is better. The Four Horsemen is a legendary song. Props to Dave but he will always be second. I met him. He was a jerk. Elifson was cool as hell. Dave was still pissed 30 years later.

BRO ,PALEEEEEEESE, metallica has NOWHERE near the catalogue of music that MEGADETH has. metallic even used Mustaines music on their first 3 albums. Including the title track of Ride the Lightning.
