|As far as i know Gaffer tape was designed for the army so it's waterproof, strong and tear up easily using your hand.

THIS is fhe Best DIY modifier I've seen on here. I was going to buy one but I'll try this. I Did order a mount made for the Impact light head I'm using, will that work w/this mount ? My light mount resembles the one you have there and the adoptor that I ordered has a rubber clamp to attach to a dish

Adorama has changed their quality of gaffers tape. It's not as strong as it used to be and it does not stay in place when used to secure wires or light head cables on the set floor. It's So thin and tears too easily. Is there a brand that you suggest ?
