Maybe Merritt will decide Nebraska looks good after a year on the bench at Bama.
It's still tough to get all giddy over 3 star offensive linemen, especially when this has been a weak point for the Huskers for a long time now.
I agree, but I think we were lacking in Strength and conditioning for a long time.
How does Dawson Merritt , Christian Jones, Vincent Shavers and Cameron Lendhardt sound as the LB /edge core of the future. Sweet !!!! GBR
Pretty bummed about Dawson but I know winning games this year will help us land those big time recruits in the future. Gotta go out there and prove it first. But still, it stinks to lose out on him since it seemed like we were in it for some time there.
I suppose it's nothing that landing 5 star WR Michael Terry couldn't fix lol what's your thoughts on the latest on him and our chances??

OSU fan here, and I’d love to see Nebraska truly relevant again… it’d be great for the B1G and it’s too likeable a fanbase not to be. Although I’m sure I’ll regret saying that when the time comes they beat the Bucks again lol

What’s even more odd is Dawson was commenting on Michael Terrys Insta with gbr but if he doesn’t come here that’s such an odd thing to leak out there. Would love both but will take 1 of the 2.
Jones is important to reestablish that Omaha base. I feel they’re waiting to see who is going to commit where. It would be sweet to have those two along with Vincent Shavers and Cameron Lendhardt LB /Edge core of the future. You know what they say money talks and BS walks .
Noah King ended up not coming this weekend. His visit might be pushed until the fall

Loftin is one of the best tight ends to come out of Nebraska in a long time? Carter Nelson was almost a 5 star just last cycle lol

Thomas Fidone was better than both Loftin and Nelson. He’s not one of the best tight ends to come out of Nebraska. His industry ranking is an 88 or 89. Love the content just a point I didn’t agree with #GBR

Not true. All these guys are committing this summer. Likely to Nebraska. Wins/losses have no impact on THIS CLASS.

@@mikef3896 I’m talking about 2025. That’s this cycle. Winning doesn’t impact this class.
Every single one of them will commit in June or July. Summer is the new peak period. Gone are the days of people committing in Dec on national signing day or in the fall. Winning 8 games doesn’t affect Merritt, nor does it impact anyone else, he’s committing this summer and he’s not flipping.
Now… winning WILL impact the class of 2026 because those guys are committing until NEXT summer.
@WilsonDittmanSports they could easily get guys to flip if they win games. On the other hand, they can easily lose recruits if they don't have a good season and guys will decommit. Winning absolutely impacts the 25 class
