Bayern is not looking for "revenge", but they have been on the warpath since Nagelsmann can finally play his preferred tactics after losing Lewandowski. They are basically already running away with the league after three games and will prioritize the champions league.

I'm not sure not having intense competition every week actually helps, players can get complacent and it becomes a shock when they get tested to their limit

As a Spurs fan, I'm happy with our draw. Pretty evenly matched so there won't be any "bad" games and still some clubs with huge atmospheres.

Thogden you are really underestimating Benfica! Last year with a team that was very bad we reached quarter-finals and tied 3-3 in Anfield one of the most difficult away games. This year with new top signings players and the new coach with beautifull football ideologies Benfica are playing really well and if we keep this performances we could reach the second throwing juventus to 3rd place like we did to Barcelona. Not disrespecting Juventus cause they have really world class players but i am not seeing such great performances in the league. So i think that group H is an uncertain group when it comes to who goes in second. PSG will 90% top the group and fair play to Maccabi in reaching Champions League but they will be bottom for sure.

Benfica plays amazing football and is full of talent but as a Juve supporter I think we will go through the group stage like we used to in the last three years. Then probably going out in the first knock out stage 😂
As always thogden is underrating portuguese teams, i swear only thogdad sees football. They didnt even mentione sporting and they just wrote off benfica like nothing. They got to the quarter finals last year and look strong very strong this year, just like sporting and porto, while juventus plays their boring football and dont get results.

I know everyone is excited for group C but I think group D is underrated. There is no clear favorite on who will advance. Conte for some reason never make it out the group stages, Eintracht lost Kostic and Sporting CP and Marseille shouldn’t be completely overlooked at

Yeah Bayern’s looking super dangerous in Germany. Though they’ve only played one team so far, that looks up to par for the UCL. Going by Red Bulls it looks like Bayern will be scoring machines but they’ll have issues with keeping balls out of their net. Though I’d like to see Mane win another.

I think that benfica can beat juve and grab second place. A team who reached quarter finals and knocked out Barcelona is surely a major threat to juventus. Juve have been out in the last 16 for 3 consecutive years. And were 4th in the league.

Honestly can’t Milan Chelsea is gonna be an underrated game. Both teams are underdogs to win it all and even though Chelsea haven’t been at their best so far, if they sign auba, fofana, and maybe one more player then they will be a force to be reckoned with.

Auba and Chelsea, I think this would match perfectly despite he's not the youngest anymore, he's still a brilliant striker. In the years when Auba was playing for Dortmund, he scored 79(!) goals in 95 matches in the time when Thomas Tuchel was in charge as a BVB manager, plus 17 assists. And Auba already knows the Premier League very well as he also played for Arsenal for years. And Chelsea desperately needs a new striker after Lukaku and Werner left the club (both didn't peform as expected).

If you want a good away trip, go to Copenhagen. Great city, great culture around the club, underdogs yes, but they are the only Danish team, to go through the group stages, and drew against FCB in 2011 i think it was, probs the best club team ever.

I think we'll take care of Ajax and Napoli at Ibrox, get a draw in Holland, and sneak a draw from another game.
Liverpool is the big guns in the group, but they could struggle in Italy.
There's definitely points up for grabs though, and it should be a competitive group.

Be nice to see Bassey again. Ajax is always hard to tell, their roster gets gutted every season but they still stay competitive. Liverpool’s struggling and hopefully they stay that way when we get to them. But like you said they’re no slouches. Napoli supposedly had some key players leave but they’ve also scored 9 in their last two games. All three are going to have issues at Ibrox.
I got Bayern as one of the teams to make it to the finals. Rather not have Man City or PSG there but it wouldn’t be a surprise.
