Couple of weeks later they talked about mommies and daddies and Jesus invented marriage. Naturally, I asked how Mary and Joseph could be married if Jesus invented it. I was sent back to the office. After that the teacher never called on me. I still remember raising my hand to answer what’s 1+0. I was the only kid with their hand up and rather than call on me she gave the answer. So I asked her how come she never picks me anymore. Long story short my report card literally said “she asks too many questions” 🤦♀️ she didn’t even trust what would come out of my mouth with basic math lol Cut to high school, I took world religion class and asked so many questions they sent me to the priest. I told him I didn’t believe in Catholicism and how religion divides us. He gave me a list of religious leaders in the community, for other religions, to go talk to. That’s right… he tried to pawn me off to another religion 😂
