None of them are wrist watches. Jewelry time pieces though.

This video exemplifies what is wrong with Swiss watchmaking. Not one watch makes sense or can be worn as a timepiece on a wrist. These are basically overpriced mechanisms to be kept in safes and watch rolls and watch cases to be paraded by collectors who might never wear them. Just buy, show off and sell to make money (investment). Watchmaking is dead. It makes no sense anymore. For most people including me these watches mean nothing because one couldn't afford them or use them to tell the time.
So you watch this video and your takeaway is "what's wrong with watchmaking?" You can't be serious. If you watch a Best Of the Year, aren't blown away, and come away with "watchmaking is dead," you're really missing the point.
These high horology watches aren’t meant for most people hence the low production numbers, and your take away and judgment is ( show off and sell to make money )
If you can’t afford something it doesn’t mean it’s not worthy of appreciation.
You’re so missing the point most of these watches are usually allocated for collectors who already have pretty much everything else.
Every single watch shown can absolutely tell time and is very well executed. You must have watched a different video. Why the hate?
@@pilotwjf If Swiss watchmaking was so exciting, about 200 or kore companies / brands wouldn't have been bankrupt and assimilated into 2 3 corporate entities (Swatch, Richmond and LVMH).
Then you don’t understand the meaning of art. You probably go into a museum, see a few paintings and then wonder why anyone could pay enormous sums to possess one. Well, here’s the wake up call, this is HAUTE HOROLOGIE! Which if you buy one, you buy it because of the artistry, the engineering and the emotional pleasure it brings you. You don’t buy it because ‘It doesn’t make sense to you’! Stick to your Ali Express rubbish if you don’t like this. I’m sure that mass produced crap appeals more to your sensitivity!
