- The unemployment data from the first quarter of 2024 has been released and the numbers are scary. The IEC made several announcements pertaining to Zanu PF and to Zuma's face being on the ballot. Thabo Mbeki has suspended campaigning for the ANC!
And Ramaposa walks forth on his path of destruction of SA!!!!!!
Mbeki's turn around on the ANC party has done more harm than his apparent support....

Funny how unemployment is so high, but go to government departments and check how empty their offices are. Hell, you will barely see even a cleaner there! If government really wanted to create jobs the public sector would be an example even before foreign investment. They'd rather be short staffed and chow the money. The only jobs they will create for the next five years is the exploitation of young people through level 2 learnerships and none permanent placement internships. We need to catch a wake up call..its intentional and self-serving!

Somehow SA have priced them out of jobs - probably more because the economy contracted significantly. Its unlikely to change if eskom + industry keep on nose diving. With the economy stagnant, employment will deteriorate.
Unemployment situation is scary and as long as there is still an investment strike by big business, and government doesn't push industrialisation to create jobs, things will never change. President Mbeki was in a popularity contest with president Zuma, unfortunately he was not fit enough for the competition😁.
Lol, investors are disinvesting and taking their companies to China. No one in his right mind will invest in Cosatu infested country, where people want to be paid more money for less work rendered. Investors like stability, not the country which cannot even give people clean water and electricity. You yourself if you have money, you won't invest in a chaotic country like SA. Clover disinvested in Lichtenburg. and you know the reason why.

My man. That is how Stats SA reports unemployment. So if you have an issue then take it up with them. They measure the percentage of unemployed people per group and also overall in the nation.
