If that isnt proven enough, he also won Bundesliga, Premier League, and Seria A, is also 1st pick option for Inter right now as a striker leaving in dust Lukaku,Lautaro & Correa... and also Spahic & Misimovic in their primes were carrying defense and midfield of BiH on World Cup aswell as B.Leverkusen & Wolfsburg.

No, it would've been worse. We can only get dragged down. The team would get turned into a political project to push "brotherhood and unity", so they'd force token players, can't have 95% of players be Croats, no we gotta insert some from other parts so they don't feel left out.
Everything in Yugoslavia turned to crap. Football only improved in Croatia, while it didn't improve elsewhere, except maybe Slovenia. So all in all, they'd drag us down.

It easily could work and couldn't work at the same time. It would more or less depend on the level of corruption in the FA, among other things. That is why Serbia doesn't do well as a national team, even though the quality of players are arguably similar with Croatian players (although Croatia does have the edge in this moment in time).

No because nobody would play with as much heart as the players usually play for their nation and there would probably be unfair advantages given to players who are worse but are from a nationality that has not as many good players. Also, many of the players that are known as very good today might not get as many chances to play (on club level as well) because there would be a bigger player pool in the whole of Yugoslavia, so many players might get overlooked because of that. That realistically means that all the players you mentioned might actually not have been drafted. That also depends on the quality of footballing management and infrastructure quality
