Sanded down the metal exit groove on 20rounder with 800 grit sandpaper wrapped a round chopstick (or something round and right size) and now it works as it should. Just push down the red follower with another chopstick while you sanding. And watch the angle. Don’t take off too much of the material. At least you have to take off the paint that 20rounders sold as. 10rounders are sold with polished exit groove if you didn’t notice.

So sad hearing the 20 round mags are poopy :(

It does suck but luckily I wasn’t really planning on using it much. I might still try to use it some more to see if it just needs “broke in” like some are saying.

The 20rd mag will work 100% after 200 rounds.
I loaded them with 10 rounds until the spring relaxed.
Maybe storing it full for a few days could work.

@@ChrisC-oy9qp I’ll probably try to break them in some more. If I get it to work I will do a follow up.

Where did you get the extended magazine release?

    • @BrowncoatNerd

That’s how it came from Classic Firearms. I’m assuming they’re putting them on all the new production.

    Metal trigger?

If you’re asking if it has a metal trigger it does not. It’s plastic.

Dropping the action from locked will never pick up a round. The bolt is designed that way for saftey...? The action has to be pulled all the way back, after the bolt is unlocked to pick up a round.
The next time you want to load a round, unlock the bolt and pull back, instead of just letting the bolt drop.
It's a different manual of arms.
