That's some serious innovation right there. I love their drones, I'm happy to see that they are stepping into the cinema camera realm. I would love a more dumbed down version without the Raw and wireless transmission for us wedding filmmakers. Nice work DJI!
As far as I can tell, the wireless video is a module that you purchase seperate anyway.
@@egg6649 I think you are correct, the wireles is an extra (a lot of people won't need it). And as far as I understood it, you can shoot h.264 as well, so no problem. The ProRes and ProRes RAW options could be useful to anybody who might want to shoot a green screen once in a while, even if that's not your main business. Just take it! In other cameras the software upgrade to RAW alone will cost as much as this camera!
DJI takes "Pro" very seriously.
Unlike every other company, that put pro just to increase the price

@@dosmacph8392 yeah, just ask what devices Pros uses… you would quickly find that Apple lead by far the audio and video industry… codecs, processing, computers, software, etc.
The higher up you go in content creation the less DJI stuff you’ll find… big budget films can’t rely on cheaply made gimbals
DJI is like Apple, no matter what it is if you pick the latest one it'll surely be one of if not the best in its league
Probably the biggest leap in filmmaking tech since the gimbal became a consumer product. I am completely overwhelmed with excitement for a DJI product since I bought my Ronin 1 5 years ago which I still have.

Been a big fan of DJI Products since the early drones but this just takes innovation to a whole new level! Congrats on the release of this amazing Cinema Camera!!! I can't wait to try one out!
This is the cinema camera I would buy it’s a complete package and has amazing image quality with proper colour grading you simply pick it up and you can go out shooting without having to put together so many accessories it provides the freedom for you to focus on creating content!!! Job well done DJI!

This is the first cinema camera I would buy. I have been dabbling with a little bit of video for weddings and I’ve been using a Sony a7R4 and a a9 on my Dji ronin gimbal, i am new at it and I don’t charge nothing. I am just trying to learn on my own. I am no videographer but being able to use Sony lenses and DJI lenses this really makes sense for me if I want to get serious. Great job on coming out with something so creative. I think this is bigger news than the Sony a7iv

You would have to sell more than 2 a7s3's and 2 ronins in order to afford this though. So if you have the spare cash then he'll yeah, cause this camera is a massive investment

Aside from all of the cinematographers blatantly endorsing this, I see this as a great tool for run and gun filmmakers, weddings, corporate as well as great for a vehicle mount with a vibration isolator.
I don't know about weddings, since it took a while to turn it on, and it is pretty heavy. Otherwise, it is an incredible and mind-blowing camera/gimbal.

This is not, by far, a run and camera. They hired plenty of directors of photography to endorse its cinematic capabilities. All the marketing, descriptions, videos..they all focus on using it on set.

@@AlessandroCaporale Thats because they are marketing it towards those types of people for those projects and the price is too high for a lot of people but that doesnt mean someone with some bread cant get one and use it for some types of run and gun.

Damn DJI is probably the most Innovative Company that has success after success since they First Launch Mavic Pro. I still have it, it already fall around 50ft high, for like 3 times, lawn mower a woods for like 5 times, and all I did was replace a few propellers and still rocking solid. Also have the RONIN S and Still rocking solid and can still last around 8hours of shoot considering its 2 years old and A workhorse beast. They have the Best Engineers and The consideration of taking "Pro" film making to the next level hands down.
I will trade in all the DJI gear I have purchased since 2019 for this gem.

0:24 the typical unnatural/non-organic movement flow that everyone hates when you use a gimbal.
Thats corrections of the motors makes me appreciate more the organic movement of a steadicam
Noticed this too in a few other shots, not very impressive and if the operator was responsible I doubt they would have chose to add these shots. AF looks shit too, the one shot they use as an example for face detection goes out of focus, bewildering that they'd add these shots into the promo lol
this is the case of being a bad operator using the right tools.

Either the OP needs practice, or the system needs calibration.
Glad someone pointed this out, I was just about to comment. Really jerky movement in the clips, yet coming from pro cinemtatographers.... But many filmmakers I follow are endorsing this, so I keep an open mind. On paper this seems amazing.
As excited as I am for this, I have to agree that a few shots in this promo really don’t look great and show why Steadicam can be superior in many scenarios

In my opinion this is a great piece for all of us because you have everything thing you need in just one. I was looking to buy a camera but when I saw this one its just blow my mind. so the thing is when if you buy camera good one you may bay it for around €6000 and you only have a camera the some prize you can buy the ronin 4D you have everything. the 2 questions that I have is the lens’s are NoT good? the other question is what does it means RAW footage? (type of soft wear where can you grade the color grading)
