- Bills fan captures video of apparent tornado in Fort Lauderdale: A Bills fan captured video of an apparent tornado in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., one day ahead of Buffalo's game against the Miami Dolphins. The viewer, who did not want to be identified, said they shot the video at Hotel Maren in Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Props to that guy for holding the cam steady and not a ton of dialogue. Dude was chill with this thing so close!
_Facts, but he filmed in portrait mode tho._
@@TiktokisForLilKids yeah my only critique as well!
It wasnt even dangerous
@@apt7prod ok Rambo
Doesnt look dangerous tbh
I love the people casually walking down there having no idea how close a tornado came close to them.
That’s cause it’s NOT A TORNADO !!
Not a tornado
🤣🤦♂️🤡
@@carpenterAF-dz2zq wtf is it? It literally has every making of a tornado. You can even see debris flying from the winds.
@@KingGogh Water spouts have very similar structure to a tornado but are not formed the same way, the winds are much less , but can still be damaging.
We do have tornados but we don't often get clear footage. They don't last long here because the upper atmosphere is always changing between the gulf and the ocean. Florida weather is full of surprises. It's the only place where you can open the front door and it's pouring rain and it's sunny and dry in the back yard at the same time.
The rain thing happens in the southeast all over, same thing happened to me in NC. Although I do know it's way more common in Florida.
I am in Arkansas and I remember a few years ago, it was very windy in the front but the back was still and quite. We had a tornado touch down that day. It was near my son and mom, who were at the movies. I also just had a tornado warning after midnight today. Its cold and windy outside and is suppose to snow this weekend. Wild!
That never happens I hate when people say this it’s exaggerated I’ve never had that to me your a clown
That happens everywhere even where I live in Missouri.
Fr though. Everytime I go it’s a sunny day then it downpours then goes back to being sunny. I love it there.
I guess it's important to note that a Bills fan captured this footage!
lol
Circle the wagons!
Yes, it's very important, otherwise the Buffalonian wouldn't catch on weather events heading into Miami lol
LMAO! I think you might be correct sir!@@user-ui7fp7gl8u
Dumbest title I've seen for a video, maybe ever. The irrelevance of being a Bill's fan is insane. No interview or nothing to make it relevant.
Apparent? That is a tornado 100%
No it’s not 🤣
@@jt2k264 What is it? If you are going to say that it's swirling air or something, that's a tornado. 😮😑
@@jt2k264Are you stupid? It's a tornado.
@@jt2k264officials with the national weather service stated it was a tornado that touched down on land crossed the river and back on land which tornados do. NWS is currently surveying damage to assess where to place it on the Enhanced Fujita Scale.
@@Samuel-7418 It's called a water spout and is NOT classified as a tornado. They form over water not land.
When it hit the power line and all those sparks flew up into the air, that was sick
Indeed
Any proof that the footage was actually captured by a Bills fan? When is the press conference?
What's Bills?
I thank you god and jesus christ's name for not letting anyone get hurt
You think he’d just have chosen to not have tornadoes in the first place lol
Only the media would call this an "apparent" tornado
Apparent because it's NOT a tornado. It's called a waterspout and only forms over water, not land.
Apparently
@@Plasmastorm73_n5evvwaterspouts and tornados are the same thing
@@jakedavis2954not exactly actually
@@Plasmastorm73_n5evvit was a tornado, not a waterspout lmao. I live here
Geniuses...a waterspout is a tornado over water...power lines don't explode over water.
And buildings are not in the water either
Yeah and waterspouts, just like this one, stop when they hit land, JUST LIKE THIS ONE. Notice how it left the ground and didn't reform until it was BACK OVE WATER?
@@Plasmastorm73_n5evvTornadoes still cause damage regardless. And tornado waterspouts and EF0s exist. Water is light enough to be picked up by the vortex, that's what's visible in the footage.
@@Plasmastorm73_n5evvthis tornado formed over land causing damage and then pushed out over water where it dissipated.
Last I checked, land is not water
Yup , rather shovel snow than have the occasional tornado or hurricane come through.
You’d rather be freaking miserable for seven months out of the year freezing your butt off then deal with a 1 in 1,000,000 chance of hurricane was going to hit your house and a 1 in 1,000,000,000 of a tornado? Yeah OK. I grew up in Maine and dealt with the snow. I’ll take Florida all day. 😂 Go bills.
Do a lil research Brett WNY has some of the best weather on avg in nation. And btw never had a HURRICANE in WNY. Squish the FISH@@BrettL250
😂 Never would a Floridian say that.
@@riverstorm8816 never would about 99% of Americans say that including 99% of people that live up north.
@@BrettL250 actually winter weather doesn't make me miserable. Not to mention the beautiful change of season. Your assumptions are way off.
Dude was like: look you can use my footage but please for the love of god make sure the people know it was a bills fan who recorded this 😂
The people oblivious to the danger around the corner reminds me of a story I think you'll find quite intriguing, as it matches the changes that impacts the lives of everyone who has ever experienced such an event.

That's crazy I was literally in fort Lauderdale a couple months ago now this happens😮😢
I always think of tornadoes happening in a corn field in the middle of nowhere. Crazy to see one in a city like this.
That's NOT an APPARENT tornado. THAT IS A TORNADO. 😮😍😊💜💜💜 Whatever He says, the elements MUST OBEY. My sincerest sympathies for those who are impacted who may feel as though they don't deserve the outcome of severe weather.
Not sure you know what apparent means lol
Are you a weather expert? Was that an F1 or an F5? How can you tell it wasn't just a waterspout?
Tornado
“Whatever he says” “they don’t deserve this” so you’re saying god is a sadistic pos?
@@dominicdeluca6378when you see the sparks fly from a power line that’s usually a good indicator that it’s hitting land 😅
Just the bill's fans letting Miami know tomorrow night we're bringing a stage 5 hurricane to the game
How funny! I was thinking the same!
Go Bills! God Bless Everyone For Protection!
@@Tme3316 Amen!
Relax buddy
What is a stage 5 hurricane?
When did this happen and where did this happen, We haven’t had a tornado in so long
Can’t even imagine being at the aquatic center that day it’s crazy I was driving just a few miles away when this hit and had no idea
Wdym? What's that?
@@HitlerLovesAnime theres an aquatic center in Fort Lauderdale with a massive pool if you look at the ground in this video you can see everyone evacuating the pool as the tornado approaches
@@melaniegrace7707 Why is it called an 'Aquatic centre'?
@@HitlerLovesAnime well anything that has to do to water falls under the category of aquatic so it’s just a place for water activities really
@@melaniegrace7707 Were there any fishy aquariums there? Are they also aquatic centers?
I didn't even know this... I live in pompano beach I just know it was SUPER WINDY all day.. I'm from south east Tennessee in the valley and there's real bad tornadoes and they scare the hell outta me... what a 2 week notice of a hurricane.. vs a 2min tornado warning...
It is not the first in south Florida, i even recall the one in downtown Miami apso however clearly they are not common. I have been through now four in upstate Florida now but again all smaller ones like this, regardless even small ones are pretty scary to go through in direct hits.
This was tiny who cares it’s harmless
Florida has more tornados per square mile than any other state. also more deaths due to trailer parks. The winter months in South Florida can have bad weather due to fronts moving in from the north. Also, systems from the Gulf can causr nasty weather.
When a Cold Weather front collides with our moist Tropical Air down here it's a perfect recipe for Tornadic events.
Florida has babies compared to Oklahoma.
And I'm in Toronto in a snow storm. Was in Miami last week
Where do you get your info from? Fake news!
@@riverstorm8816I call and raise you daily summer thunderstorns that you folks would consider tropical storms. Your deal.
That is a scary thing to witness!!!
The word "apparent" is interesting in the title because that is 1000% a tornado
Those 2 people just strolling non-chalantly along like it was a beautiful sunny day 😂
Wow! And you can hear it!!! Great video!
What's the black orb flying through the tornado dropping clear orb on top and flying off up to the right
People outside walking around as the tornado 🌪️ is tearing up stuff 😂😂😂 so Florida. I love it here 🤣
Like I said whacked the sun destroys any logic they used to have lmao
Thank god for telling us it was a bills fan, now I can understand the video
Maybe there is a correlation there somewhere that you're not seeing...
Im from Florida and those tornadoes still scare me give me nightmares
If I die just please.... please get them this video and make sure they let everyone know that this year is finally the year for my Buffalo Bills. Just credit me as Bills fan in the press release.
Every time I say I wanna move down somewhere south because I’m sick of the cold winters my dad always tells me it might be nice down there but then you’ll deal with tornadoes. There’s no win win scenerio
why did it need to be clarified that it was a bills fan
You spin me right round like a record baby🎶
I'd be shitting my pants. Been obsessed/terrified/fascinated by tornados my entire life.
I've seen Northern lights green lightening, I've never seen mint green... Interesting.
Tornados never cease to amaze me
So what the heck is a non apparent tornado?
It’s definitely strange.. 🧐
Yes, it’s very apparent that we are, in fact, witnessing a tornado.
That's very rare for south Florida. Even in central Florida.
Omg hopefully you stay safe ❤
sound alone is horrifying is that a pool is that hotel or shool?
@nycbklynrmp Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center/International Swimming Hall of Fame
A tornado is way much more terrified. Masterpiece of nature's anger.
"Apparent"? That literally _is_ a tornado.
I was down there for the game and we went to Fort Lauderdale. We drove back to Miami, we missed it by a half hour lol
Its practing on intercepting joshs pass since he likes to throw them
We be practing I thought you fish were in schools ?
I think you mean it’s getting ready to scoop up Miami drops like last time!
Mother nature letting us all know who the boss is.
True but still people refused to listen to her.
is everyone gonna ignore the fact that when the tornado hit something and it exploded, the power went out for liks 3 seconds down there
I wonder if the weather channel or news channel even mentioned that one???🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😳😳😳
In Florida, even the Tornadoes are f****d-up....
But who is Bill???
That video has to be from the Maren hotel? Just stayed there.
Cameraman never dies.
In Chicago we call this a stiff breeze.
The lesson is to not go in the pool when there's a tornado warning like those people in the video.
Nothing apparent about that. Definitely a tornado.
Amazing video my aunt lives down there
Apparently, that’s a tornado.
Can’t believe people were in the pool at that time.
Why in the hell are there people in and at the pool??
The unidentified Bills fan?
Huh. We can get this but we can’t get aliens in Miami?
This is terrifying!
Bro did that thing just _eat_ a power station? 💀
Man that’s scary
Apparent tornado? That was clearly a tornado, not apparently one lol
Nature at its finest. This is the direct result of having too many Bills fans with high expectations in one area. Add a touch of Stephon's anger and that's what occurs.
Damn that’s moving fast
It is a tornado, not an apparent tornado.... SMH
Those people ouside scared me so bad 💀
Bro just casually skimming the pool
What is a Bills fan?
A bills fan is a fan of The buffalo bills nfl team lol
Technically that would be considered a funnel cloud
hoping no one was hurt, but great footage
At 5 seonds the tornado was aqua color the same color as the miami dolphins! About to tear up the bills!
Well that comment didn't age well. 😅
AI program needs to do better. Two videos in a row saying apparant tornado in the title. I see we need to make sure we belive it was an apparent tornado and not energy being released from what is above it.
Check out The ppl that are jus waiting down below to get back in the pool 😂
Apparent tornado? I heard the same guy walked in on his wife mid coitus with his best friend and said she’s apparently an adulteress.
What about this is apparent and not legitimate?
Aw the tornado got shy and hid behind a building!
I'm convinced tornadoes only appear in Florida to ask for directions to the Midwest.
What’s up the the title “apparent?” 🧐
Thank Christ he's a Bills fan
People in a swimming pool with lightning nearby... NOTE: if you can hear thunder, You can be struck by lightning...
Apparent tornado. Lol. I thought it was a pineapple upside-down cake or maybe a Brontosaurus. On second thought, it kind of looks like a pint of Guinness or possibly a futon. Snickers bar? Welding helmet? Dalmatian?
Could be anything, really- Maaaaybe a tornado, if you look at it just the right way…
At least it didn’t blow away that building!!
People don't even care just walking in bathing suits by the pool watching the tornado as if IT gave them the coordinates earlier.
Everyone walkin outside like it’s just a normal day, swimming an all 🤦🏽♂️
We're were the sirens??
No sirens in Florida.
This is a waterspout.
Yup, that "apparent" tornado was a tornado.
We don't always get tornadoes here in central Oklahoma (wait, yes we do) but when we do, we call them monsters
I was living in Mustang Oklahoma in 2013 when the El Reno tornado hit. Scariest night of my life 😢
Up north we dress for the weather and you know whats really funny to me is when you see those fl boys dressing in winter coats when its below 60. They are such babys
is it common..the two women in the clip don't seem concerned..
Nado played hide and seek.
"Got you. You're behind that building."
That life gaurd is looking for that raise. Refused to leave his post the whole time.
Why where they swimmers on the pool swimming while a tornado is happening a few meters away from them? 😅😂😂😂
I do believe I could’ve broke the world record in the 50 Free.
People are as if nothing had happened. After they die, they want them to still feel sorry.
Looks like cars are being flung in the distance
Did anyone notice the thing flying through it
