- Gran Turismo is more than just a game it´s a museum of automobile history. The series covers cars from over 136 years between 1886 and 2022. Beginning with the first car ever build up to modern supercars.
I recorded Gran Turismo 1,2,5,6 footage my from original PS3 Slim hardware with Elgato HD60. For Gran Turismo 3+4 I used an emulator on PC and OBS Studio. For GT Sport the capture function of my PS4.
Wheel I used for GT3-GT6: Logitech G25
For GT 7 I´m using the Fanatec CSL Elite PS4 + Clubsport Pedals V3.

Few games had more impact in the real world than Gran Turismo, the game literally set the standards for the gearhead community, where before, each brand had it's own standards.
Also, the game also taught us that super/hyper cars aren't the only fun cars, you can have a lot of fun with slow, cheap ones to, who doesn't like to take a Golf GTI around the Schleife? Or a Miata for a run at Suzuka? Or you're like me, test cars, many of them, around the Schleife and La Sarthe. (The last one I tried was that BMW V12 Le Man winner)
GT is not just a game, is a life experience.
This is the gran turismo vibe that other games lack
I loved to just buy random cars from the used car market and modifying them from an understeering mess to a track car

GT games have that special feeling to them.
As for favorite cars and also in real life as well, they would have to be an AP2 S2000 and an S1 Elise hopping one day I achieve both them. But I do have other favorite cars as well.

Such a shame that they didn't include. The 1930s Tatra 77a and 87 it had 3.4 ltr V8 engine located in the rear of the vehicle and would do 100 mph ,it was one of the fastest road production cars of its era. Underneath their flashy hides, the T77 and 77a both had four-wheel independent suspension that used swing axles in the back and a transverse leaf spring system in the front but These high-ranking Nazi officers drove this car fast but unfortunately the handling was rubbish, so at a sharp turn they would lose control, spin out and wrap themselves round a tree killing the driver more often than not. The Allies referred to the Tatra cars as their secret weapon against the Nazis.

If im Honest i did not know the first Mercedes, model T, Hutson, 1949 beetle and VW TYP 82 was in GT, and im going to personally try some of these cars in GT4 and GT3 on my PS2 (non slim)

its because its on an highway, and there isnt much detail that changes, its all identical in a tunnel
of you were to be out of the tunnel and see buildings on the side of the road for example, it would look much faster,
