We sometimes buy them for alcotrips innawoods, they are ok.
Btw 35$ for one is huge overprice, you can buy them locally for around 9.
Also the higher the menu number the better it is.
If you get salted fat/шпик inside, you can use it to cook something (frying or adding to soup) or just put it into semi sliced vegetables like potatoes and cover each with with tinfoil and bake em.
It can be also used as lubricant or firestarter fuel.

The...uhh...cicadas, are a background noise common in many Asian countries during the summer. I've never considered them annoying, but having lived in a cicada-free city for over a decade, I now absolutely hate that screechy, scratchy, droning sound. I may need to return and re-acquire that tolerance and rekindle the love of the cicadian drone.

I really like your hiking video. Somehow I felt at peace. It made me feel like I dont have to become the highest payed proffessional in the world, be the best at school and the smartest in college. If you have a place to live, a good family and food on the table, everything is alright. You can still do what you love and enjoy the world

EDIT: this may seem like a no brainer to some of you, but where I'm from (Midwest US) people have bee blatantly disregarding that sort of thing from my perception. Pro 2A and I concealed carry myself, but I've noticed a lot more 'good ole boys' (if I'm being honest, the ones I expect to know a little better) scaring folks on the trail by letting a few off when they think no one is around/close.

Kasha and beef are really high in protein, one serving of kasha (which is ususually about 1 imperial cup's worth) has like 13g of protein usually. And the beef is beef, they themselves don't have much flavor so just add pepper to it and it usually helps bring out the flavor. Alternatively, if you have one of those mini soup packets, pour that into the mess tray and it helps alot. Even a boullion cube of beef or chicken.
A great review video o the MRE. Misty Mountain supply is a based store and a good friend of mine. His prices on these rations are unbeatable.

You know.... Most people in the entire world has never spent a single night outside besides being prepared for camping? Is it just me or what I remember me and my friends when we were 16 just hiking pretty much to nowhere, setting up a makeshift camp, getting a fire going and cooking some canned food? Then just sleeping out under a leanto on the ground or if it's not windy or rainy I would just sleep on a half tarp on the floor with rocks and sh*t under me.. Never slept better... Not really a family orientated trip, but if my house ever blows up and I'm homeless at least I have prior experience to fall back too.

I've probably spent 100 nights in the rain and cold alone and never felt any fear about it.. Most people freak out when it just gets dark in the woods... Honestly the scariest thing I HAVE EVER seen while doing this while I was sleeping one night in a little tarp tent to keep the rain off.. I woke up to something against my side and I freaked out... Turned out to be a f*cking armadillo also trying to get out of the rain and stay warm... Scared the hell out of me but nothing bad ever happened.
Being good outside is a missing thing in peoples lives today and so sad!
