My school crush first got my attention with his eye contact and smile. Now about 4 months later we’re like cute flirty good friends, eye contact and smiles all the time, comfortable talking in class every day, and prefer being around each other and sitting with each other rather than somewhere else. If you watched JaidenAnimations' self improvement video, you'd know that if you modify your personality traits too much to make other people like you, it can lead to an identity crisis and the realization that you're not yourself anymore.
Of course, it'll it's justly one hobby and you grow to actually like that hobby, then it's not bad
I did this! I tried something for the sake of impressing a lady, and even though I didnt win the lady, i thoroghly enjoyed the new 'hobby'. After awhile i gave up on the hobby, but i learned so much from it, that i dont regret it! Sometimes taking those chances, as you said, will benefit us. make us more well rounded and more curious!

Hanging out with a group of friends and looking aproachable kinda contradict each other. At least I feel like starting a conversation with someone who is in a group takes way more courage than if they are more or less by themselves. So maybe it's best to switch between being alone and therefore more aproachable and being with a group of friends.

No matter what I do, others have this tendency to look at me weirdly as if I had belonged to a different planet. I don't really talk that much in real life, and so those other people find it hard to interact with me normally. With that being said, it's even more difficult to imagine that I would ever attract someone or somebody along the way. It's just strictly impossible. I mean, if I make the decision to further better myself, then probably there could be chances.

My ex got attracted to me even though I didn't pay attention to her at all during a few days trip to my friend's house (we didn't know each other before).
As she later told me, my voice was the thing that made her chase me (it's pretty low and comforting + I have a good diction). Me on the other hand, I've had situations when I've instantly known that I ain't going to like someone, because his/her voice were to screechy, or they were speaking too loud.
Pay attention to the way you talk, ladies and gents. Especially after alcohol, when everyone tends to shout and/or mumble.

For the hobby thing, only do that if you're actually in some way interested in that hobby. Of course, I can only speak for myself. Yet even if it's easier to get into talking with somebody who shsres a hobby, feeling the other is not putting their heart into it would be rather a tun-off for me than anything else. If somebody genuinely enjoys their hobby and is enthusiastic about it, that itself can be highly attractive. Sharing the same hobby then is rather a bonus than prerequisite for that.
And the cheerleader effect is an interesting one. Tbh, I often rather feel being in a group rather highlights what's unattractive about my appearance rather than downplaying it.

I'll likely use a bit of this to help make friends when school comes back around! My resting position is crossed arms and a grumpy/lost in thought expression, so open body language and a smile on the first day could really help!
If you are a guy, know most of us guys arent sure where to put our arms at! it aint just you. Try to cultivate the fine are of being comfortable with your arms at your sides. It is difficult at first, but with effort and awareness it becomes more comfortable in time. That is a strong, neutral posture.

Try to invest your time and effort somewhere else? A different CZcamsr I watched said that the more you invest your time and energy into a person that isn't reciprocating will make it more difficult to get over them in the long run. I think finding a different person to shift your focus to (that will reciprocate the effort) will help you get over her.

Relationships and way too complicated nowadays especially especially with certain events happening
I smile whenever im nervous sometimes when im near people. When a visitor around the same age as me came in my room I smiled nervously and my dad told me to play with her. On that day it was the first time since the last 2 years where I was talking with someone I barely know I was the one who started and held the conversation and we both actually had fun. All the stuff I mostly did was ask her questions on what she likes to do and we both played board games, drawed random stuff, watched a movie and played video games. When she was about to go home she said she wanted to stay more and I was flattered because im usually the awkward one and most people I talked with would wanna go away if they got the opportunity to leave. The next day I felt so great and proud of myself that I was able to do that after all my conversation skills are actually quite bad.
I’ll definitely smile and wave. Usually I’m SUPER shy and nervous but I’m trying an experiment where I look confident and feel confident!😊😊😊
