Keep in mind, this song was recorded in a studio setting, and they played it on set and the guys sang along, but that was not recorded, or they just mouthed the words. When they stuck the flashing lights in their mouths about 3/4 of the way through, they just moved their mouths in time with the pre-recorded singing.

She's a German born singer, songwriter (her English accent is a bit strange because she grew up in Scotland, German +Scottish accent mixed together), but she plays Medieval instrument called a 'Hurdy Gurdy' or a 'wheel fiddle'. Aside from her solo stuff, she also plays in a medieval instrument featuring, pirate themed heavy metal band.

They did a BTS video for patrons that also explained the mouth lights... essentially it's a mouthpiece with an LED inside. No makeup discussion, but you're able to see what they did in normal lighting.
You can buy the mouth things from online stores. They're quite cheap.

Anyone else catch that, during the first time they use the light up teeth, there's a crack and one of the singers makes a movement to look like he's snapping another player's neck? I noticed the sound and I was, like, "woah, that sounded like someone just broke someone else's neck," and then they did it in the video. It's right at 3:02.

E1 is his lowest recorded subharmonic note. How he can sing down from B4 to E1 live is amazing. As he gets older his voice will continue to get deeper. So maybe one day he’ll get even lower than E1. Personal opinion he’s better than Avi Kaplan and Tim Foust.
