In Sean Payton's defense. This is probably part of his plan to get Russ to start cooperating with everyone and stop being so up his ass.
I agree.. He has another coach, now, that has earned his respect.. Payton has to lay down the rules, nobody else is in Denver.. Hard lessons are the best lessons.. It’s gonna be best for Russ, I believe..

@@xillyworld I think its a little early for that. He's great but I've been watching long enough to see quarterbacks have a couple seasons and fall off. I think he'll be good but the sad thing is he plays for the chargers. Phillip rivers was good too, and look how much success he had in the playoffs. And Rivers didn't have to deal with Mahomes in the same division.

As a not Patriots fan😁, I think Mac has been treated like an unwanted dog, poor guy. Not by the fans, just the staff. I hope he gets a fair shake, because it's just not cool the pressure he seems to be under. Brady & Belichick were a perfect match, because Brady was married to football. But normal people need to be able to function as humans, and coach just isn't allowing that. Wishing him luck in the fiture, because he does seem good!

@@jathan254 Well, I am just an outsider here, but I seem to remember a bit of ping pong between Jones and Zappe. And I thought Jones had proven himself fairly strongly. The thing is, Belichick only has eyes for football, so the players have to eat, breathe, sleep football. Like zero things in life matter outside of football, which is why he & Brady were perfect together. But now the Patriots are a team with more humans, less robots, and Belichick doesn't really do "humans" 😂 I wasn't meaning AB level drama, just Belichick losing Brady, basically.

Flores didn’t hate Tua, he wanted the team to draft Herbert. Can you blame him? Not only is Herbert a better qb, but he doesn’t have the injury issues that Tua has.

Tua has higher yds/att. Same amount of td's having played 4 less games. Higher points/100 snaps. On 14 less snaps per game.

@@Cisco31 guess I share that opinion with Flores. Not to mention that Herbert was missing Williams and Allen, his 2 best WRs, for a large portion of the season, While Tua was (under)throwing to Hill and Waddell when he wasn’t hurt.
@@latarribell4152 as a fan of football but not a fan of either team (neutral opinion) i thought it was pretty obvious that Herbert is night and day a much better QB than Tua. Tua is good, but that boy J Herbo is a fucking specimen, if it wasn’t for Pat Mahomes I think he’d have a lot more notoriety because they’d be winning that division every year.

I call 109% bullsh!t on Sean Payton hating Russ. He loves Russ. The Saints’ refusal to go after Russ was the reason Payton quit the Saints - also thinking Russ could get Pete Carroll and John Schneider fired. Russ was also a huge reason Payton took the Broncos job.
Russ cues need to dump his wife and get back to bring all about football, but SP doesn’t dislike Russ at all. He was hoping to take over in Seattle, and Pete and John kind of knew it was a possibility when he left the Saints.
They saw Russ’s list of 4 teams. They just didn’t know at the time that Russ was trying to have them ousted, which I would have loved as a former Seahawks fan.

Payton is a control freak and he gets the benefit of the doubt because of his results. Sure he may only have one ring with Drew Brees but you did not want to play those Saints teams in the playoffs, especially in the dome.
Russel Wilson is known more for not being able to deliver when Pete Carrol finally gave him the keys. Was it entirely on him? Of course not, but do not be mistaken, Sean Payton will not tolerate whatever Wilson was cooking last year.
For Sean it’s not about Russell it’s about how he runs things. He would have banned anyone’s trainers.

Good for S. Payton. No player is above the team. Russ is much too diva for a team to play for or with. Dude had his own office literally above the rest of the team's locker room in SEA. He does not need his own personal trainers when the team has THEIR own training staff, strength/conditioning coaches. The message is blunt: you are part of the team, not some separate, higher entity.
