This is kind of a “no shit” statement, but if JB is healthy all year Cincy is without a doubt a contender to the Chiefs. This is coming from a Ravens fan.
@@MrMusick84as another ravens fan, I will say that the Bengals are pretty scary with a healthy Joe burrow but Lamar and Derrick Henry duo is just deadly for any defense in the nfl. The ravens also have amazing few pass catchers to top of that. Plus an always elite ravens defense helps too. The ravens are nearly a complete team and would’ve made the Super Bowl if the offense could put points on the board.

As a Chargers fan I agree with #11. He was injured last year went 5-12 got destroyed by the Jags in the playoffs the year prior. Hasn't won a playoff game yet.This year under harbaugh he could enter the top 5.

To be fair here is why it makes sense. Cowboys have better quarterbacks in their room than the chargers.say for example both teams lose their starters, who would you rather take Cooper Rush or a Stick? Justine Herbert is better than Dak but the average of the qb play of both teams is higher for the cowboys since they have more competent quarterbacks in their room.

As a Steelers fan, I can assure you, Pickett is NOT a safe option.
He's a DECENT (not good) back-up. He's Daniel Jones, but actually a bit lower skill set.

He's bad bc he spent 4 full years in college, and franchise QBs don't do that. He had only ONE good season in college, his last one, and that made him look more valuable to the Steelers than he actually was. His hands are too small. His arm is relatively weak. His athleticism just isn't on-par with most top-tier QBs. Basically, he has none of the skills needed to be really good, or even decent as a starter.
And as far as being a worse version of Daniel Jones, Pickett has the same mechanics, skill-set, and athletic ability, but all just a smidge worse in every category. Which is pretty bad, if you're worse than Daniel Jones.
I can't think of one thing that Pickett excels at or is even mediocre at, in terms of QB ability.

People who discount Purdy don’t understand football. I was impressed in his rookie preseason game! Purdy was the best QB last season which was his second season. Anticipation and accuracy go a long way… something Cam Newton wouldn’t understand…

Caleb Williams that high is wild
could and possibly should be higher. This is quarterback situations from worst to first. The Bears OL according to ESPN analytics ranked 2nd in the NFL in run block win rate and 5th in the NFL in pass block win rate. Fields has been so bad he made a good OL look bad to some people. The Bears upgraded the line with Bates and Shelton replacing Patrick and Whitehair. They upgraded at WR with Allen and Odunze. They upgraded at TE with Everett joining Kmet. Swift is an upgrade over Foreman at RB. Waldron is a better OC than Getsy. Overall the Bears did not lose any major players on offense or defense from last season.
The Bears defense ranked first in the NFL in scoring defense after the acquisition of Sweat and Eberflus taking over defensive calls. Overall they were top 5 in the NFL after that point. They upgraded at safety replacing Jackson with Byard and adding Owens as depth behind Brisker. Byard and Jackson rated similar in pass def but Byard is an elite tackler where Jackson is allergic to tackling. Even if the Bears defense isn't top 5, it should be top 10 or so and that would also be a nice help to Caleb and the offense. The pressure of not having to score 30 plus a game or in Caleb's case 40 plus a game at USC because his defense was so bad is a great weight lifted of his back.
A WR Trio of Moore, Keenan, and Rome on its own would be a top 10 situation with a trash O line and no TE's.

O’Connell was meh as a rookie? Literally the second best rookie QB to play last year went 5-5, he had major improvement from his first start to the end of season, kid got third string reps until week 8 and was thrown into a situation with a Rookie OC and new HC

What is the definition you are using for situation? Is it looking at the room for this season only or beyond? If the latter the cowboys should be much lower. Rams def should be higher with a Stafford Jimmy G and Stetson qb room

The Commanders below the Vikings? I think Jayden Daniels is a far more exciting QB prospect than J.J. McCarthy. Daniels can do some great things. McCarthy was just the product of great coaching and a great team around him in Michigan. He looks like another Zach Wilson. And I think Marcus Mariota is a better back-up option than Sam Darnold.
Why are the Bears so high up? Caleb Williams is unproven. They should be ranked below the Commanders. I think Jayden will be better than Williams and even if he isn't, Mariota is better than any Bears back-up. Mariota might even be better than Williams.
Why are the Browns so high? Watson has been no good in Cleveland, Winston was a bust, and Huntley is no good.

Don't get me wrong, it's great having a 2nd grade MVP as our QB, but they didn't do anything on free agency or the draft to give him help. He needs more, like any QB, than one #1 receiver. He needs a solid #2 and #3 receiver and a running back.
Any team with a rookie starting QB going into the season should be at the BOTTOM until they prove otherwise.

Goff had nearly 1000 more yards and 10 more TDs than Geno in 2023. Geno had a great 2022 but he regressed in 2023 whereas Goff became elite.

The Vikings should be higher because they have a good team around their rookie. Chicago and Vikings should be ranked closer, both above the Cardinals due to inconsistent and injuries for Murray.

I love how biased people are against the broncos this season. We have an offensive mastermind in Sean Payton as our coach and the offensive line is bad on the statsheet in terms of pressures and sacks but during the winning streak Im pretty sure Russell wilson had the most amount of time inside the pocket than any other quarterback in the nfl. Our WRs are also way better than whatever the panthers have most of them havent had a real chance to prove themselves really (like marvin mims and troy franklin) Talk att you want but if you think the broncos have the worse situation then the patriots or panthers for a QB then your just wrong plain and simple.

They are definitely better than Atlanta, considering Russell Wilson has always been better than Cousins who was drafted the same season, and Fields is more experienced, though Penix may potentially be a better quarterback…
Also, Russell Wilson beat Love on the Packers, Allen with the Bills, Herbert with the Chargers, The Browns, and Bears. Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars were NOT better than Wilson on the Broncos, who in two less games threw five more touchdowns, and three less interceptions, with a higher competition percentage…
Pittsburgh’s quarterback room deserves to be at least SIX places higher. The Bills quarterback situation is arguably better…

There's no question in anybody's mind the LA Chargers are moving in the right direction now that Jim Harbaugh is now head coach Justin Herbert is a top 5 QB but just as sure as the sunsets in Southern California they will do whatever it takes to make them into a real winning team to knock off OR knockout the back 2 back Champs in Kansas City Chiefs 8:40
