Quite ironic coming from a man with glasses (even more ironic of me to say, because I am blind AF too lol)
I liked this comment, idk why; but its utterly correct.
@@Zutzuuuman wtf are you on about, go back to your lane bud
The end comment was the best in the tone he used. " I just love it!". Was adorable. You can tell he really loves his job. 😊
Omg Ikr?! So adorable. You can tell he loves his job because he said it! 😊🤩
I promise you!!! You will want a doctor that loves their job, over a doctor that just likes it.
Trust me. If you were getting 2million a year you’d love your job too
After 20 years of pest secondary education, I'd say it's almost deserved @@ceciliogomez975
@@ceciliogomez975 The thing is depending on the doctor you don't seem to get to use that 2 mil. Sure you and your family are set for life but the hours look grueling. I guess they do take sabbaticals or what not
I had this done. Not as evasive as open back surgery. Faster recovery
Yeah I hate an evasive surgery tbh
@michaelgapp5291 I'm sorry angel. Hope ur recovery has been easy as it can be so far
@mountnebo88 if you can get a Dr to write an effective script, opioids I mean. Short term is great but if u get addicted get a script for Gabapentin. Take 1 daily and after 22 years of being hooked on my scripts of 22 years ....done with them. Not one withdrawal.
@mountnebo88 the second causes vasodilation and decreases oxygen efficiency.
Any time there's a blood vessel that is compromised, that is dangerous. When there's comprimised breathing, that's dangerous.
I'd advocate for the stuff, but sometimes, especially with major surgery or any vascular surgery, it's not viable for the situation.
@@michaelgapp5291 did that really even need to be stated… I’m pretty sure no one is a fan of invasive surgeries, let alone surgeries at all.
I want this guy as my doctor. The happiness of doing his job tells me i would never die of negligence or ego.
I love seeing a doctor passionate about what they do. So many of them are so overworked and underpaid and i don't blame them for checking out or being depressed
“Underpaid” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 oh buddy…
@Srfs777 Sadly, a lot of doctors are underpaid all over the world
@@Srfs777He's not wrong. A lot of countries don't pay them well. A lot do. But a lot don't. Definitely very underappreciated people in society nowadays.
definitely underpaid for how much debt they accumulate and how long training takes@@Srfs777
@@squashedsushi6220 well let me know when you find these “underpaid doctors” you speak of.
Honestly everyone trying to bring up the point in this video that he’s making a TikTok or short or whatever but you can clearly tell the entire time that he really is focused on what he’s doing and still respecting his patient. It’s completely different then those other creators that are putting on a show in front of the camera. This video is honestly nothing different than if he had a class of students observing for the surgery. I’m glad he’s able to do a good job in his surgery and yet deliver information to us so easily.
Very true, much thank-you.
Surgeons literally play music and talk to each other during surgeries 😭 it’s not the dry and cold environment that people think it is; they’re human afterall
People forget or don't realize that doctors will sit and have conversations about whatever while doing surgery. It helps pass the time. However, when something is delicate and requires full attention, they lock in. Clearly he was at a point in the procedure that didn't require intense focus.
I don't think it's always about distraction. Bringing a camera or phone Into a room where they usually clean everything again as soon as you as little as bring your hand under your waist or touch something ONCE they disinfect everything and do all that while the phone is one of the dirtiest things you can have seems more like the problem to me
@@attax6615camera is sort of shaky, seems like someone is recording him so there shouldn’t be a risk of contamination since he won’t be grabbing the phone 👍
Now there is a man's who loves his work😂
Gotta love a dude that knows what he’s talking about and enjoys it
You want your surgeon to be excited about surgery... that's one of the ways you know they're top notch.
I didn't know about the irrigation. Very interesting!
When I was a kid I learned how to slice a banana without removing the peel. You take a needle and thread and go under the skin with it to run the line between two adjacent corners. You bring it up the other end, then back into the hole toward the next corner until you've gone all the way around. Then you just pull out both ends of the string. The thread will slice the inside in half and the skin will be almost completely undamaged. It's basically laparoscopic surgery.
Imagine your on the operating table and you hear. “What’s up guys thanks for a million subs”
Id either start to panic very very severly or be very happy. Depending if my mind starts thinking of all the fucked up ppl in the world who would love to see a doctor do some experiment😂 id prolly start off thinking im safe but then that thought would slowly creep up on me
@@thisismyusername6717 guy starts reading super chats out loud 🤣 text to speech starts going off in crazy ways
If I'm able to hear anything while in surgery, streaming will be my last concern
@@Lilian040210 lots of surgeries keep you awake during the operation
"Doctor, can you not make tiktoks while performing a life altering surgery in my spine?"
And these people wonder why we don't trust thwm.
@@xaviersmith5154 there's nothing wrong with making this content, it's very informative. my comment was meant for joke purposes only
@SheenylHassan everything is wrong with this. Idk if you know what the spine is or not but he could kill or paralyze the person he's working on if he's not careful. He's literally talking to us as he's doing a risky surgery. Surgeons shouldnt be focused on anything but the surgery they are doing. This shit isn't a joke. But you won't understand till your entire life is fucked up by these careless fucks.
@@xaviersmith5154 listen man, these are professionals who have spent more than half their lives education and practically applying themselves in their craft. I understand where you're coming from but this is a training dummy for practice. Not everything needs to be a conspiracy.
@@xaviersmith5154 sorry but have you ever been in any operating room in any academic medical center? They talk and teach constantly throughout the case. This is no different lol
I’m a big fan of Asian doctors. My dentist is and he’s got to be one smart cookie. Wits and a sense of humor will go a long way.
My man just casually saving lives 😂 god bless this surgeon
Thanks to the surgeons out there doing long hours of great work. If they pay you guys well, you deserve every dollar.
As a SPD, I see that Stryker camera and I’m reminded of the wonderful 8 hours a day I spend in decon, cleaning them, drying every bit of water from them with an air hose, wrapping them, and putting them in a NX.
Wow! Personally I’m thankful your passion is the betterment of human health. 😊
This man got some skill I can’t talk and do anything but he’s explaining and doing
Oh what CZcams shorts can go to. From a random interview about a way a person dresses to a whole person getting surgery and the doctor talking about it 🤣
Anyone else so interested in how there are specific types of people? Like how many Asian doctors have we seen that have this charismatic and informed confidence that makes you just know that they are gpod at what they do? Certainly they're their own person but I swear these types of doctors even share a very similar voice, my dentist is almost exactly like this man
As someone who had an Endoscopy, I think that's a great way to look @ it.
His enthusiasm and joy makes him sound like a real life anime doctor.
I really hope the patient knew about this video before it was taken. That means explicitly told “hey we’re gonna post this on CZcams Shorts and TikTok”.
This is why I am grateful that humans like to do different things. This man is a man that’s right where he wants to me and I respect that so much.
“Bro, can you not make a TikTok while doing my spinal surgery? Thanks…”
I had one of my testicles removed from cancer and i thought they would slice my sack open but they went laparoscopic right below my stomach to remove the nut. It healed much better that way
Wow Endoscopic discectomy 😊my fav procedure, when I am gonna scrub for this procedure each and everytime its like first time.😂
To be able to focus and give a lil speech is crazy work (impressive)
Man sergery of any kind just makes me worried but hearing how enthusiastic you were about it, 👍☝️💯, I want you as my doctor
The patient: UGH! DOC HURRY UP!!! 😂😂😂
I lost one of the pages of pictures from my endoscopic shoulder surgery but that is so cool they use water. I knew it was tiny cuts and camera but did not know that it used water and now the pictures make so much more sense.
Enthusiasm is always welcome in doctors.
Had a peanut-shaped gall stone that split, resulting in 2 VERY sharp fragments that sorta looked like the markers in google maps.
My insides were too torn up and lacerated for normal surgery and my doctor said this probably saved my life
Doc seems like fun to work with😊
Thank God for people like this
Hold off on the lecture while I'm under doc 😂
I tend to prefer it when my surgeon can see.
This is actually super cool. I've never heard about this before!
What great insight, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
bros talkin about this while doing surgery that’s awesome
I'm pretty sure endoscopic surgery is what my mom does. Pretty cool. Didn't know this.
Reminds me of Ryan Reynolds in the Harold n Kumar movie when he said I just love it😂😂. He should do a doc movie with Ryan Reynolds 😂😂
That's really really cool!
Good work Doc...good work...
I repair those scopes. Sometimes they get sent in without sterilization 80
XD
Advancements in this area gonna be awesome, like imagine a sci-fi tank you go into
Yeah I’d agree that’s what my doc did with my knee and it was a fast recovery
Loves his job
I used to build these for Olympus on the surgical precision line
Pretty sure my mum had endoscopic surgery for her bariatric procedure. Healed well!
I love that he loves it.
Thank you doctor
I just love it!😅 yes it’s a very cool way to do surgery👍🏻don’t let the water get low though!
Life, where water flows!
I’ve had endoscopic surgery for my appendix removal. Crazy stuff
One of the best jobs in the hospital
LORD,I NEED THIS DOCTOR ACCORDING TO WILL❤❤❤❤❤🎉
Nice I learned something today
Adding coolant to the cut. Nice.
Thanks doc!
Imagine u wake up during surging your doctor is making a tictok on you
I would trust this man with my spine
I enjoy watching. You're a talented guy.
Fascinating. 😮
I couldn't agree more!
When making content like this in the profession that you have, does the patient sign a release form allowing public viewing of their surgery? Love the knowledge, keep it up!
Appreciate the information Dr, excellent work 👏
Nice! I actually learned something, we love that
I just want to find a career I care about like this man cares about endoscopic surgery
“And I get paid a shit tonnnnnnn”
Forgot that part. Lol
It's got electrolytes! 😂
Doctor makin the video
The dude getting surgery wakes up: 😶
Osmosis is neat!
Thank you Doc ❤
I want to scrub for this guy, there's on spine surgeon that has made me dispise spine anything. He makes it seem so fun 🤠
Humans are awesome
That’s so cool.
Amazing. Beautiful!
When I had my ACL replaced the doctor gave me the video of the surgery from inside my knee.
Nice ❤
"I just love it"❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks to the patient for the internal footage. 😂
AWESOME
Cool. Didn't know any of that
😮😮😮 so cool ... very much helpful to do surgery hoping to do soon..
Sounds like a kitty purring
Notice he wraps his wrists with ioban. This is done to prevent sweat from contaminating the sterile field
Anyone who loves their job must be great at it
Wow!
Makes me love it
Wow very cool!!
My back approves of this
I just love it 😊
So amazing. I would love to have this done for my back but they don’t do it here yet.
Had my spine fused from my lower 2 cervical to mid thoracic...it was the most painful experience of my life to recover from.
Unfortunately, they did fusion with hardware and I had a fusion from L3 to S1. And I’m still now bent over like a question mark and still with a lot of pain. Also went through contracting MRSA through the hospital. Was not my favorite time in my life.
As a non-surgeon who has not completed thousands of surgeries i can honestly say i have no idea what this man is taking about.
Wish I could multitask like that!
What are the occurrence rates of Adhesive Arachnoiditis after such procedures? I had a dual level fusion and stabilization (hardware and flexible rods) on my lumbar spine in 2012. It was a posterior/anterior surgery so a bit of cutting involved. When I awoke after surgery I had the worst pain in my legs, far worse than the pain before surgery. It hasn't left since that day and here we are in 2024....
That's cool
That’s bad ass!
