  • You might have noticed that in many of my cooking videos, I use induction burners. The one in this review is a Duptox, but the principles I go over are relevant to anyone wanting to learn more.
I use them every day (not just in my cooking videos) from making oatmeal in the morning to frying up chicken cutlets for dinner.
It's been asked what they are since I mention them a lot so I thought I'd do a video stepping you through what I know and understand about them. For example, I know it saves me money because they are more energy efficient!
However, before you buy an induction burner, there are a few things you should know because they aren't all the same. I'll explain it in this video.

Thank you for a very informative/educational video. (I am thinking of a modest remodel and may be without a gas stove for a bit.)

The induction units are also instantly adjustable (like gas).

Anyone who spends much time in an RV should have one of these burners. The benefits are numerous. First, it does not heat up the rig. Second, it's easier to control the temps. Propane burns way too hot and it's tough on nonstick cookware. Third, clean up is a breeze. Compare that to cleaning up a propane stove top, and it is reason enough to ditch the propane stove. And finally, it can sit right on the propane stove top cover which expands and preserves precious counter space.
I had a hard time with the sound. It isn't loud or obnoxious, but it does sound like a simmering sauce, lol. It will take my brain a little bit more time to adjust.

I agree! I don't have an RV (yet haha), but I can see how this would be a "must-have" for sure!

Thank you for the video. It is always a treat to learn something from someone who knows what they are doing. 😊

I'm afraid I don't know the answer, but I'd play it safe and follow the manual. Maybe someone else has some suggestions.

Since I bought mine, a year ago, my poor stove is abandoned.
