Well the Arrma Typhon V4 on 6S is pretty fast out the box with the 20T Speed Pinion on but I think there's a little more speed to come, so more arrma speed runs next week with the Arrma Typhon and Talion as I've a new 6S 100C pack on order.

What is the option of year size as I bought mine used and it never came with it I just came stock. And I'm assuming the optional gear is what you have to get that speed. I just found you guys this morning I have subbed you thanks for everything
@Mike D it's a 20T pinion that they supply with the new V4 to get the 70mph, however you'd need to check what will squeeze in a V3 as the motor mount is different on the V4. If you're doing fast road work as opposed to off road then tires by GRP seem to be good, I've just been testing it this afternoon. Also picked up a spool and I'm going to record how to assemble it and fit it. Thanks for joining us!

Agreed, I think it's probably well up there on the run Marvin showed 65 the car was visibly a lot faster than the first run even though the radar said otherwise, Nate and Marvin thought so as well. New 6S 6000mah 100C pack just arrived today. Wondering how the hell long it'll take to charge. I shall make sure GPS is on this time. Gun is normally +/-2mph

Im thinking about buying the the tyhon 3s or the granite 4z4blx as my first proper RC car. Im just going mess about on my local football park and 100% no bashing.

No bashing! Then get the Typhon! You'll find you get more fun out of it, and you can drive it flat out with all four wheels on the ground, the Granite blx is fun BUT if you're not wanting endless wheelies (which can get a bit boring) and want some control of the car at high speed then go for the Typhon, also if you get the speed bug watch MrMad2424's Typhon videos where he gets the stock car with gearing changes to over 70mph. The Typhon will also do big/long jumps better as it's more stable in the air

This was a stock test of the stock car on the stock tires. I've run 94mph with JJ customs shop speed run typhon on the same road. This was purely done to show people the stock out the box speed. Lots more to come, new 6S pack (100C) and bigger pinion sat on the side, should run it again sunday, with the GRP speed run tires I use. Hope all that makes sense, I've done quite a few speed runs...:-)

Typhon can reach up to 71mph out of the box, as you say the trasmission and bearings have to be more loose.
Try a quad battery. Maybe reducing the weight will really help. Also you could get larger diameter tires and shave them down to slicks
This car is running pretty good stock out the box. Not sure at all on your tire suggestion. I use grp tires for speed runs, which are like semi slick sticky tires designed for speed. This was a stock test of the stock car and tires. I think you're reading way too much into this video. Do check out my other speed run videos.....you'll see I do quite a few that are much faster than this.
i know old vid or whatever but my 3s typhon with 4s electronics from ryft goes faster then that typhon 6s on 6s
