- This is a follow up to the original video. I talk about some of the things that people suggested in the comments and I go a little more slowly and more in detail of the build gear and stats. I do kill enemies in this one which I know people were upset about in the last video.
I know this vid is older but I came across it and figured I'd answer a couple of the questions you posed. The first is that you still 'Ignore Target Defense' only takes the Defense vs Attack Rating part of the attack chance out of the equation. I believe it makes it so that only your level and the monsters level are a factor. I think at 99 your chance to hit is 95% on all enemies (Idk about Ubers), 95% being the max. As for the Iron Golem I think a lot of times people use Insights because they are cheaper (in case it dies) but also you probably aren't using all that much mana. It would at least be useful when teleporting around! Since the character is hero edited I would say instead of beast you could do something like make the golem out of the pride and give your merc a high damage weapon.

I've been playing a dagger mancer since 2000. That said, I believe that it's best to have at least 10-12 in Lower Resist for more poison damage. Think of Uber-Mephisto's poison resistance at 110%. Then again, a poison Sunder charm will do the same thing.
I’ll try to make a video on my dagger mancer build this weekend or next and I’ll send you the link. I was the one who commented about plague runeword being able to be made in a dagger now. It gives -25% poison res and has chance to cast poison Nova on striking which gives aoe. I’ve been using just a eth flesh ripper with a zod lately though so I don’t have to repair all the time. I should mention I’ve had every possible dagger build you can make.

if I remember correctly Venom squeezes all your poison periodic dmg into 0,4 sec , which then makes recalculation of your inventory charms etc... so technically u ll do less dmg, but over way faster period of time, eventually resulting in massive increase in dmg...

Am I mistaken but I though the posion damage of multiple sources doesn't stack correctly right?
I does seem to not stack correctly, you are right. I have tried a few times to use venom charges on this guy and for some reason my poison damage will show the damage going lower instead of it increasing. Now im not sure if in actuality the damage is increasing and the game is not showing the correct damage or if it is actually calculating wrong and the damage is actually going down. Great question, perhaps someone else will comment and clarify it better :)

Overall damage goes down but dps goes up.
Poison dagger calc that you see that the game makes shows you how much damage is done during the entire duration and since duration gets lower the overall damage gets lower but that doesn't mean you are not killing faster.
I was watching CZcams about poison damage, and whoever it was said that Poison Dagger damage gets calculated BEFORE venom's poison damage, so PD always takes precedence.
i think you can never get 100% hit , i think it caps at 95% chance to hit any monster even with no defense. I'm not sure though!
