- For english subtitles press C. Chevrolet Impala Taxi produced by the Lesney company in 1965-1968. My model was complete. I had to make a new hook, new stickers, a copy of the box and regenerate the plastic suspension. The greatest difficulty was to straighten and glue the cracked posts. This model was with a white interior. There were also versions with a red interior without a driver. Thank you for watching. I upload movies with the repair of toy cars on CZcams on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Superb 'A' pillar repair. I would have painted the tail lights red. I fault Matchbox for omitting a TAXI lamp on the roof and TAXI decals on the front or rear doors.

Super! What a great restoration. An excellent, glossy finish on the paint. Yellow can be a difficult colour to apply. Great repair to the roof. Many Matchbox have been stepped on, which gives us extra work to restore. I wonder how this model would have looked if it had made it to the narrow wheels Superfast era?

@@PaulRestorer Yes, I think I will make a Superfast Impala as well. I have already made a Superfast#22 Pontiac Grand Prix, with a Regular Wheels body shell. The real Pontiac Superfast does not have opening doors: a feature I like.
@@PaulRestorer So long, 3 years to getting around to doing this. Just made a Superfast version. Custom 2 tone paint, so it is no longer a taxi. Metallic purple roof and Ivory on the body shell.
The four door Hardtop is an odd choice for a taxi model - you would expect a B-post to support a partition in the taxi... but a lovely restoration nonetheless. I would have been tempted to repaint the interior, probably.

3M marka koruyucu cila var. Türkiyede epey pahalı bir ciladır özellikle yuvarlak teneke olan daha kalitelidir. Bu cilayı kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum. Araca attığınız boya ve vernik çok kaliteli, lakin araç boyandiktan sonra kameradan bakınca yüzeyde boya dalgalanmasi görüyorum. Bu bahsettigim cila avrupada fazla pahali değil. Aynı zamanda parlatmadan daha ziyade koruyucu bi özelligide var. Sert bi pamukla hafif sürün daha sonra 3m makro bezi ile boyayi yedirin böylece üzerindeki boya dalgalanmaları daha eşit hale gelecektir. Hemde boyanın hamlıgı fazla dikkat çekmez. atilan boya çok taze olduğu için yeni yapıldığı anlaşılıyor. Bahsettigim cila zarar vermez aksine korur ve üzerindeki boyayı yüzeylerini eşit hale getirir

Здравствуйте, Павел! Как всегда отличная работа! Браво! Хотел давно у Вас спросить - не возникало желания и клепки сделать как аутентичные? Не красить их вместе с кузовом,а прикрутить,затем либо подобрать сверло с похожим контуром кончика,либо самому его сделать на токарном станке и сточить толстую и высокую шляпку шурупа почти до базы,уничтожив при этом отверстие для отвертки. Затем при помощи йода затемнить цвет метала и просто кисточкой подмазать в цвет кузова? Ваши модели тогда невозможно было бы отличить от оригинальных!
Большое спасибо вам. Идея очень интересная, но я использую шурупы, чтобы всегда можно было попасть внутрь в случае поломки или повторной покраски. С наилучшими пожеланиями

They are quiet expensive but I like the details on them.
I was searching to buy many brand new unopened Matchbox from 80s and very early 90s from my childhood years, but someone else bought that collection.
I found Tomica and I didn't know they have like 3 or 4 stages of detailing in their castings and prices too.
When all the cars arrive maybe I will make a video if I like their castings enough.
