When you change position, you don't trail your arm like Vasyl. In boxing, there is no grabbing of arms and so perhaps that is why he trails his arm. I feel that trailing the arm gives the impression that Vasyl is moving forward or still in position as he moves to the side. This delays the rotation of the opponent as they focus on the trailing arm.

He does something that technically should make 50% of his offence useless. But for some reason when he fights, the refs forget that kidney shots are illegal. If you look whenever he gets in the position under the opponents lead arm, he throws his own lead hook to the body. Normally results in a kidney punch. He never goes to the head after that counter because the punch to the back of the head would be too obvious. Theres a reason you dont see boxers doing this very often.

There’s another technique with loma blocking the line of sight and stepping to the outside in sequence, it’s my favorite ko in boxing ch close it out.
I performed this exact same technique while I was taking a shit this morning. Only with more skill.
