    your a life saver, absolutly new to these machines and after a week i had given up on it, couldn't figure it out. A simple clogged extruder and nozzle, now I can finally get back to printing random stuff haha!!

    Super clear and useful. After my nozzle started clogging (It was giving me weak and easily breakable prints) I used your tutorial and I cleaned up my hotend, changed the bowden tube and cleaned the nozzle without even burning my finger :) Thank you.

    Community service announcement: When you take the cover off, ensure you place it securely on the printer rail while you do the rest. Mine ended up hanging without me noticing and I melted one of the clips that keeps it on the printer head. It still goes on okay, but 😢

    My Ender 3 v2 neo went ~decent 30 prints, then got a filament break before boden tube, didn't notice immediately and print went on without filament for a few minutes.
    I marked the teflon tube with a marker right where it goes into the pneumatic holder on the extruder, in order to know later how far it was originally in.
    While cleaning I noticed I couldn't get my teflon tube didn't go all the way through, just a few cms, like it was from factory, got rid of some clogg with a tiny screwdriver, pushed the teflon tube in as far as I could, really just a few cms and Jack's complete lack of surprise the symptoms started right again, I guess this tube never was in up til the nozzle and there is an imperfection of machining I could see with a flash light inside the extruder making it impossible to put the tube in that far.
    The dude that put this together during manufacturing was definitely not doing his job correctly nor did QC,
    I'm gutted and I have no motivation whatsoever for the cluster**** typical after sales service vibe.
    I've just ordered another extruder, will check immediately if this one is manufactured right or will send the part back before doing anything else.
    Sure have buyer's remorse and will not forget it when considering brand on next printer.

    Dont just cut the tube snap off a tiny section and then pull the stuck piece with pliers/ push with material.

    Is there a kit for these tools? The filament has been sticking to the nozzle and it looks loose, any suggestions? I’ve been told to clean it with a brass brush and it will work then. Im not sure that will solve all the problems

    would be nice if we had those 2 tools in the first place, I cant replace the nozzle at all without burning my hands and fingers. So for now I got to buy these new tools and hope i can still replace the nozzle decently. :/

    Is it supposed to be 230 celsious when you are pushing the teflon tube all the way through to remove impurities? Wouldnt that melt the teflon tube?
    Update: it went through with 90 celsius 🤷‍♂️ I was afraid 230c would melt it

    • @crealityafter-sale5706
      @crealityafter-sale5706  Před rokem

      Don't worry, it is a high temperature resistant material, 230 ℃ in its tolerable range

    Would be nice if this shit actually came with the printer because it's not like most people have the exact fucking size of spanner to both grip and fit in the space just lying around.

    When they put the Bowden tube back in they look like they measure the Bowden tube to the hot end but then they shove it deeper than measured. which way is the correct way?

    «Open-end wrench» and «sleeve to remove nozzle» are not included. The included wrench that has the nozzle size is shitty.

    Do I have to preheat the nozzle to replace it?

    • @mikecro1111
      @mikecro1111 Před rokem +1

      I have seen a few vids and they always pre-heat the nozzle according to the temperature of the filament you have installed, I guess this will make snapping of filament less likely, and the nozzle may have solid filament in the threads which would mean applying more pressure, and requiring more twisting stress on the heat block.

    • @reclaimtheframe
      @reclaimtheframe Před rokem

      Preheat to clean it, but to remove it better cold in my opinion

    • @HMcore
      @HMcore Před rokem

      Yes, metal expands as its heated up. That's why you'll only get a tight fit if you install the nozzle when it's heated up (240 degrees ideally)

  • @private6714

  • @adamnope4577
    @adamnope4577 Před rokem +7

    DO NOT USE THE TEFLON TUBE TO CLEAN IMPURITIES. Mine got stuck and I had to cut it out of the nozzle, that was the worst 30 minutes of my life

    • @reclaimtheframe
      @reclaimtheframe Před rokem +3

      Was the heat on? Need the heat on to do that in my experience or you might catch cold pla.

  • @keajan2148
    @keajan2148 Před 8 měsíci +1

    Maybe you could actually include the two tools you used for the nozzle replacement and not give us a goddamn open ended wrench for the nozzle and *nothing* for the heater block.
