- KUTX Presents Shannon and The Clams
It's unfair to compare them to the Ronnette's or to describe them as girl group revival, or rockabilly, or garage--it's all and none of them. They come from a city whose beauty lies in its diversity, and whose artists compulsively subvert genre expectations. One without adventurous tastes will never fully appreciate what Oakland music has to offer. You also have to be a little weird.
The band stopped by KUTX Studio 1A ahead of their set at Levitation Fest Oct. 30, 2021.

There are literally no bad songs - everything they do is awesome.
Great band. I want to hug Shannon and say thank you for singing. And also the others.

Vanishing. So, so good. Just amazing vocals.
Спасибо за выступление, за песни.
Saw them at the Observatory in Santa Ana back in the the Day - In the small Room! Way more energy! The place was going off! Hot as hell! Everyone was sweating bullets and she had to go off stage as she was overheating and had to add fans to blow on her! That show went off!! This one, not so much.. Sleeping? Still love them!
Cody's my nephew....proud of him.

Amazing!!
Enjoyed this so much. Gotta catch them live at some point
Same same same.
Thanx for that !
I had to stop and search. The opening has some heavy sampling of The Crystals (Then He Kissed Me). Regardless, I love Shannon & The Clams.
Amooooo
❤❤❤❤
3:17 ... 🥺🙌🏽😍🙌🏽🥺👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽🥺
What happened to the drummer?
He’s a carpenter now, the third brother
KUTX Austin, guys, it's still The Ronettes or The Ronnette's really?!
It’s like Janis Joplin doing doo wop and it’s epic
I'm digging this band and I'm a cynical musician. That means I groan at most music...
But fuzz bass on a soft tune? Keys player clapping, two singers... musicianship. Very tasteful.
Very Four Jacks and a Jill but with a millennial twist. Very listenable
