Thanks mate appreciate it! I think it’s a common misconception with these types of bars they do give great protection excluding the headlights being hoop less but the protection around the vital components is the same. If I’m being honest if you hit a roo it’s a game of luck after that point but I know I have much better odds than the factory bar.
I agree. I'd love to see some real world testing of these bumper bars because they are popular and consumers may be mislead about the protection. But test them and prove us naysayers wrong.
Got the same bar, and pirate camp co bash plates. Drill a few holes in the rhino bash plate, place a few nutsert and you’re good to go. Have found the bar rusts easily, had it for 8 months. Happy with the aesthetics of it though.
Nice idea on the bash plate mate I think I’ll be extra stuck with the remote resis as they use the same mounting location as the front bash plate which is also a bit annoying
Isn't the grill's purpose to cool the radiator? The grill is exposed., and the bonnet. The bar looks great. Just don't drive at dusk till dawn. Best of luck.
The grill is exposed but the way I look at it even with a hooped bar you can have a roo go between the hoop and bar and knock out your rad as I said in another post it’s a luck game when it comes to hitting wildlife
Quick question, I have the same Ranger but skeptical regarding rims and tires to go off-roading. been looking everywhere but no luck. What spec can I go (17"') without to cut or not rub? (Tyre Size, rim spec would be highly appreciated.) I am also looking at adding bumper, suspension and arches later-on.
@@4x4CampingandAdventures nice! I’ve been tossing up between the assault and the raid but thought I’d be up for flares as well. What size tires are you running? The rig is looking sweet!
@@4x4CampingandAdventures Don't look at the 'gap', that's got to be there. Look at the line of bar to guard around the headlight then look at the line of bar to guard around the wheel arch. It's usual for Rhino to fall short with their design and fabrication.
Rhino bar looks wicked, best ranger ive seen. done quite nicely
Thanks mate I agree with one of the best looking ones out there!
Very smart looking, I prefer the full bar with the hoops etc , I think they protect more with roo etc strikes,

It looks good but yeah I prefer the hoops too.

Very factory I like it ⚔️

Thanks mate much appreciated yeah I have to agree I can’t go back to a normal bar again

That looks so good but. Factory 👌
Neat n tidy. Is there much wind noise from the roof rack. Cheers
Nah mate it’s actually very quiet but it has no accessories on it yet that could change the noise
Looks fantastic. Love the videos mate.
Thanks mate much appreciated!
Look very tidy mate! What are the specs of your assault wheels and tyre specs?
Hey mate much appreciated they are 18 assaults with 285/65/18 tyres mate +25 offset

What wheels and tires are you running and what sizes? Doesn’t appear to be any poke? RHINO
18inch ROH 25+ Offset its has bugger all poke

Where did you get the raptor grille from?
Company called Next gen ranger mate
Hey mate how much poke have you got are flares needed?
Roughly about a inch of poke with these mate but it’s mostly sidewall
@4x4CampingandAdventures cheers mate ordered ironman flares and have roh +25 on order didn't know if it would look silly or not
Nah it should fit quite nicely mate just tucked in a bit
Love/Hate to see it after a roo.
I have a photo of one if you want to see it
The bar to guard fit is ugly, and why you keep the camera and your hand on it I do not know.
Bar fitment is perfect the gap is there so the bar does not smash the guard when you go over bumps, no idea what your on about with the camera
