Akhi, don't talk about things like this. The solution is simple. Tell those that you are counseling to train themselves with lesser internet and lesser smartphones. Time will go slow, there will be lesser images and screens, people will become in touch with reality, focus more, the spouses and families will engage with one another more. Memorizing and getting images when your read Quran, Hadith and Sirah will increase. Your worship and concentration will increase.
Bring solutions. Set up retreats that help people discipline themselves into getting out of addictions. I believe the root cause is the internet itself. And then these devices. Islamic training programs like those health apps that have 3 day training, 5 days, a week, a month, a year etc. They set up everything for health and body, but not apps like that for becoming more educated and practicing in Islam. Look up samsung health app, take the rationale behind it and convert it into a Muslim practicing training app where people encourage one another. Did you pray your five daily prayers on time today? Check ✅, you have 29 days left on your program. Good work!
But mentioning these things could make it normal and mainstream. People might think it is normal, so I'm not alone.
I have 3 days without internet and smartphones each month. And it's the best three days.
You will begin to see the usefulness of the internet i.e to research and get knowledge. While you're reading a book, then all of a sudden you need to do research. That's what the internet should be used for and not instragram, tic toc and scrolling one kilometer every day.
But when it is used for setting up profiles and uploading images of yourself, that's when you'll get people like this. They are constantly bombarded with images of uncovered women, they see people who have fake happiness, become envious, and begin to hate their husbands until they talk like the disbelievers and say "you're not making me happy anymore".
A man should not give his wife a smartphone. Give her a Nokia ds 150.
Bring solutions brother. Exposing things like this is not wise.
And put stickers on the camera, and turn off the phone when you're with your wife. These devices are spying on you until your 'Awrah (private parts) are exposed. Would you have allowed someone to peek into your womenfolk? How can you give them these smartphones? Look up pegasus, trojan horse, cybergate rat.

These devices are their spying tools. Buy a Nokia ds 150, and use it when you are at home. Use the smartphone for paying bills and banking. Train yourselves out of being addicted to them. That's my advice.

I don't know much about this issue. There are so many positives and negatives to this. If I speak about my case in happy I'm not married yet. If I was married as soon as I hit puberty I wouldn't have got time to understand myself and my likes/dislikes and make sense of the world. I was also very liberal back in the day and if I got married would probably be living with a liberal wife too and to bring her closer to Allah would've been a challenge and would have caused chaos for our marriage. I was thinking of marrying recently and have got even more strict in practicing deen and the girl I liked doesn't wear hijab just as I used to wear shorts and didn't cover my awrah. So I'm thinking as I'm working on dressing appropriately, fight off music addiction should I marry a girl who still does all this? That's why I'm delaying my marriage further to be fully sure of what kind of wife I want

We men have to be extra vigilant when it comes to choosing a wife because women are not angels or sinless. First, we have to beg Allah to bless us with a pious wife, then we have to look at the right place ( for example not looking at liberal apps because no pious women will be there ).
