I'm loving looking at the Christmas markets, but sitting on the top deck with a mimosa in June watching all the castles is definitely lots of better!

Cochem is amazing , I love the Mosel spent many summers there during my military service 🇬🇧 first wine tasting I did was in alken am die Mosel when I was 18 ! Bringing back great memories, so thank you x

If you are in Germany, any place that serves beer has to have a free public bathroom.
Love your trip down the Rhine River. My husband and I lived in Germany for 3 years when he was in the military, but I had forgotten how cold it was there in the winter.
lol i make it a habit of using restrooms when i see one and you always go before you get off your ship or leave your hotel room. it's like when you're little and your parents tell you to go to the bathroom even if you don't have to right before a road trip.

What day were you in Koblenz? My wife and I were on Viking the week of 12/11 - 12/18 and in Koblenz on 12/14. I only ask because it was seriously cold but absolutely beautiful!
Moral of the story always have Euros and change for bathrooms in Europe!

I don't know where you live, but in Germany you have to pay for your health insurance too!
