I'm told 26 yrs later that I was approved back in 1991 and I wasn't notified til 2015 til when I was encouraged by other veterans to go un and try again

    So in the decision that is issued remanded. Does the decision actually say the word remanded. So the claimant understands it’s not necessarily a bad thing?

    • @CCK_Law
      @CCK_Law  Před 5 lety

      Laurie Grivel, thanks for tuning in! Board decisions will clearly state that an issue (or issues) has been remanded. If an issue has been remanded, the Board decision will include a section listing the remand instructions that the Regional Office must follow. We hope this helps, and that you found this video useful!

      I have been waiting for a desicion on a earlier effective date ptsd and insted of seding me the two years that they owned me they send me only 1/2 of a month retroactive , thats no joke ..They make many mistakes and that is the way they teat a War veteran after all. They still owned me from 1993 to 1991 . I summited the appeal in 2012 that is what they did.

      @@laylow9652 As far as we have heard from VA, they are operating at normal capacity so decisions should not take longer than they usually would. We'll certainly be keeping an eye on this!
