Thanks for this, thought my 6 year old dryer was needing replaced! Removed the back cover and pressed the reset button and it’s working perfectly! I am guilty of stopping mid-cycle, taken note for future ref 😅

I'm really pleased the video was helpful to you. Could you do me a favour and take part in a poll I've made about the lifespan of appliances? You just need to tick one of two boxes. It will only take about 10 seconds. This might help us improve how machines are made in the future😇
      Here's the poll question: www.youtube.com/@How-to-repair/community
Also sharing will get more people to participate and we will have a greater impact with the manufacturers thank you for helping.

I have a vedette condenser. It doesn't have a removable panel with the thermostats, they are attached directly to the frame inside the rear panel, but just like the beko in this video, one had a little button. I pushed it to reset and presto! Good as new. Thanks for the tip on the secret button! Love your work.

Thank you for your video, which helped me a lot. The tumble dryer works!!! We have a different type, but it worked again. We had no idea that such devices could also be reset. It's only 4 years old and hasn't been used that much. I must admit that I did not know before that opening the door during the drying program affects the thermostat. Which unfortunately I did many times.I know now, thank you!!!, very important information☝️for me.

When I look at the statistics on the video, it does tell me not everyone watches the video past the point of what they need, but there are other people out there who do you need their hand held. And expect me to take them from the start all the way to the finish and as I have to assemble the machine myself, I might as well leave the camera rolling. The great thing about CZcams, you can always jump to the point in the movie that you want to see. Nice video after searching for a while, machine seemed clean enough but i cleaned it further, 2 loads later its cut out again, this manual reset switch is annoying as the machine can't be left open but also indicates an underlying issue that is causing the cut out and cold air problems.

Hi how to repair. I've got a fault with my Beko washer dryer condensing machine. Washes perfectly well. Does not dry clothing. No heat created. I took the old off and set the reset button. Now we have heat but the motor or fan sounds extremely overworked noisy and a consistent noise comes whilst on, doesn't sound healthy at all, also the area where the thermostat cut of get extremely hot. The thermostatic button was cutting out before, but since resetting it, it doesn't cut out and although heat is being produced it doesn't sound healthy and um concerned maybe a fire risk due to the heat. Any ideas. I have taken a video to show the noise. The model is a Beko 7kg/4kg wdl742431w

I'm not able to upload documentation to CZcams on your Pacific model number like wiring diagrams and so on so please use the contact page at my website if you need further help www.how-to-repair.com/help/contact-us/ looking at your tumbled dryer I would do a continuity check on the heating element to make sure it's good if I remember correctly there is a forward thermostat as well and an NTC sensor that needs to be checked. Also remember if you have any blockages on the pump system sometimes the heater will not come on because it's in safety mode, but if all, the parts have been checked and you know they're 100% working. It is possible for this printed circuit board relay that controls the heater to have become faulty.

We had a Beko tumble dryer… it burst into flames. According to the fire service it’s a known issue with Bekos. Fortunately I had a fire extinguisher. Beko were awful. They sent a guy round who admitted they do that all the time. We never had any further communications from Beko. Dodgy and dangerous.
