If your tumble dryer has stopped heating then it could be the thermostats that need replacing. Watch our how to video for a step by step guide. For tumble dryer thermostats visit www.ransomspar...
I've bought the replacement thermostat kit but it looks like the connector going into the thermostat has melted. How do I replace one of the connectors too?
Would a moisture sensor be located in a similar place on a 15 year old vented ZANUSSI ZDE57140W with sensor dry? The dryer is no longer switching off when using the sensor, despite clothes being bone dry on the cupboard setting and it will even run if I put a dry load on as an experiment. I have looked everywhere in the drum and I can't see anything resembling a sensor/probe to clean or replace.
My Bosch dryer initially can be start and run for few min …. After totally shut off without power . Switch of the main power and wait for awhile can be start again but only can last for few min then shut down again . Are thermostats faulty .
You said nothing about the connectors. Do you just put any of the two wire on anyone of the two connections, or are they supposed to be connected specifically?
Why would anyone risk connecting things incorrectly? Before disassembling anything you are unfamiliar with ALWAYS mark them with a pen uniquely (not a temporary pen either), take a photograph, then disassemble, repair, reassemble with one eye on the photo.
this will work on a hotpoint tdl30 and hotpoint ultima tdl62 tdl60 hotpoint ultima logic sensing tvm65 and tdc60 and the tdc range and hotpoint tcm65 hotpoint tc range tl range
Did you know that if your tumble dryer has stopped heating up then it's quite simple to fix! Most of the time it's just a couple of small thermostats that need replacing to solve the problem!
I changed the thermostats just now, but still getting the same F03 message, apparently 'front thermistor issue'. Nobody seems to know how to fix that ...
Great video - very clear, but I'm not sure it will fix my problem. My tumble dryer does heat and tumble as it should, but only for a few minutes, then cuts out. I can almost immediately get it going again by pressing Start or changing the settings, but it then cuts out a few minutes later. Any idea what the problem is?
Ur voice is wonderful. U should do sleep videos 😂😂 I was like damn. So calm
its very handy that one of your new thermostats can be reset, thats what that little hole in the tops for.
Straight to the point
When you take the first panel (the bulky one) off, what is the thing with the copper contact for?

That was a decent cut away. Did you trip the back up?

@@dazid1 your heater needs replacment
My thermostat fuse doesn't have screws hiw do I remove them?
Are there little metal tabs at each end that can be lifted with a small flat screwdriver?
Mine over heats and shuts off I take it will be the same thing
from my personal experience; if the fuse blows afterwards you've probably put the connections back the wrong way
