Been there done that water damage!! Pipe cracked, lost 1/3 kitchen floor, cabinets, bathroom floor, entire! All the week before Christmas, so getting insurance, contractors, all online cuz of their time off... Then no work during the week of, it was like camping in middle of winter ! The insurance thing, they'll sign on for what they are entitled to be it social programs or if they dare work such a job that provides ! May you be back on dry ground SOON !! Amazing the amount of damage water can do ! Send same wish to anyone going thru water issues, right now weather has not been good to Iowa or other midwest states, heartbreaking.

We've got the opposite situation, here in Jo'burg. Lots of water cuts, due to maintenance work. Not too bad for me yet, but my mother had no water last week from Monday to Friday! Oh, friend, I listen to your channel here in NY state on the NY/ PA line , while having tea. Never been an official JW , live in a small rural town where quite a few are JWs. Grew up with entire families door to door in the low income project. Back when thsold the magazines for 10 cents each, which they now deny ever was done !!

Quick question. Are you covered by "worldly" insurance? In my experience, it was very unusual for a serving jw to have home insurance (or, at least, to admit to it) because it was seen as a lack of faith in Jehovah. Many got bitten on the bum by this (as they did with "not needing" to put money away for retirement) and were offered no practical, emotional, or financial help from jw at all. Just prayers.
Tell me, did your "worldly" neighbours (if you have any) and friends offer practical, emotional, or even monetary, support in your time of need?
Please, people, make sure that you have insurance. Bad things can happen and many of us don't have family to fall back on. Stay safe, everyone.

It is so plain to see that their home cooked, homemade over the counter doctrines have expiration dates, when new light comes around. What is holding this sham together is 607 and 1914. Remove them and the whole shabang collapses before your eyes, and the DEAR dedicated ones who are loyal, integrity keepers will still NEVER get it.
The obligation to believe and to teach the whole Adam and Eve story as a real fact was the main reason why i became pimo and eventually disassociated. Now I m interested in the bible only because it helps me to understand the viewpoints and obsessions of south west asian people 2700 years ago. Even nowadays they are obsessed with virginity. I dont think first sex is better with a virgin, unless one considers virginity as a proof he is her first mate. This wasn’t relevant for Adam as he knew he was the only man in paradise, or could he suspect Eve having a try with an ape? or perhaps a snake:))) so now, i see the watchtower is also a good mean to learn about the obsessions of the discreet slave or the writing committee :) I just thought about king David: he wanted Bathsheba even she wasn’t a virgin, but as an old man he could only be warmed up by a virgin…
The Bible is such a fantastic subject, with so many twists and turns...and it's impossible to decouple a conversation about JWs from their claim to follow a book that, in itself, is FILLED with very serious problems. The virginity things is one example of how uneducated their writers are....

I find it offensive that you often state how you don’t want to offend people. I’m not sure why that is valuable to do. I probably just don’t quite understand , but it strikes me first as a bit dishonest because you say lots of offensive things intentionally and with good reason. Like for example should we care that drawing a picture of Mohamed offends Muslims? Its just seems that that it’s a better position when you are trying to teach people the actual reality that you don’t care if you offend there beliefs that an actual tooth fairy exists. Your lack of knowledge of history and the Bible are shameful Stacey. I’ve followed you because you called out the watchtower, but the longer I listen the more I realize that you are rightfully angry because you were deceived, but you’ve thrown the baby out with the bath water. You should do your homework on what the original scriptures say compared to current day bibles. And you should do your homework on the true history starting with the Bolshevik revolution and what was going on in Germany before the war.
Also Yashuah Jesus Christ was not a “jew” he was a Judean. The term “jew” was inserted into the Bible 1500 years after it was written. The Hebrew alphabet never had a J or V. The current day so called “jews” are actually Edomites. Also the word antisemitic makes 0 sense as the current day imposters of YHWH’S chosen people are not Semitic.
I’m sorry that your anger towards the watchtower has made you turn completely away from YHWH and Yashuah Jesus Christ. I pray you find your way back to your Heavenly Father without religion to twist your heart 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Adding additional history is definitely helpful. Has your research uncovered the reality of Yahoo, or YHWH, whichever you accept to be real? Do you still feel he is someone to be prayed to, or that he “ loves” us? So much enlightening information available.
Very familiar with everything you've mentioned here, however, none of those things have to do with what is taught by Jehovah's Witnesses. Again, this show is about JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES. Unfortunately, you are clearly colored by your own belief system...understandable. But I'm quite knowledgeable about the Bible....including the fact that it is grossly inaccurate. I would encourage you to look deeper into how the Bible was written, where the Bible (no matter your favorite translation) was copied from....including WHO wrote it, rewrote it, etc. ---- Even more fun is looking into YHWH himself, proven to be a Canaanite storm god ripped off by the Israelites. Much of what you state has nothing to do with JWs....they're leadership has never been very smart, nor able to look at the oldest manuscripts, translate languages, etc. Take a look at the work from Richard Carrier as one example. My knowledge of history and the Bible are quite good..... but thank you for your comments. Simple question: do you believe Adam of Genesis to be a real person? This will tell me a lot about future answers to your posts..... thank you.

To Bible believer, I as a woke from JW also am fully awake from YHWH and Christianity. What made me wake up fully was, I questioned, if true Bible God does exist HOW can this God allow his name and reputation to be used to ANY CHRISTIAN GROUPS😮. If you are a SINCERE AUTHOR of your so-called trustworthy book will YOU allow any false religious society or cults to use it, even allow them to translate it to fit their doctrines? Will YOU allow these groups to use this (YOUR) book to go and preach and collect members and their money? To these questions I realized if this God allowed it or is just watching it, then something is extremely wrong from first place in religion, especially the one I was taught it’s the truest😅
