- At the beginning of 2020, I made a resolution to read more and try to spend less time in front of a screen for the remainder of the year. I am currently on my 30th book of the year and want to share a few (8) favourite non-fiction reads!
1. Outliers - Malcolm Gladwell
2. Talking to strangers - Malcolm Gladwell
3. Power of Habit - Charles Duhigg
4. Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less - Greg McKeown
6. Daring Greatly - Brené Brown
7. Attached - Amir Levine and Rachel S. F. Heller
8. Pour your heart into it & Onward - Howard Schultz
9. The power broker - Robert Caro

Hey Daria! I am a grade 10 student and I want to start building the habit of reading books. I was just looking for a video of this type and I found yours. It was a great video!
Thank you so much! Really appreciate you watching ☺️ Good luck with your habit!
@@onesecretoutlet Thank you!😊
The 10,000 hour concept is dubious at best; the author has a strength in engaging presentation, though not necessarily in interpreting the research of others.
However Robert Caro does superb research and the Power Broker is rock-solid. Thank you Daria!
can't agree with the gladwell recommendations enough. If you like the power of habit, you'll love atomic habits!
I like paring books with music as I read.
Philip Watson's...Beautiful Dreamer was a really good book about Bill Frisells Career. Before starting the book I created a playlist of this new artist that I've never heard of but instantly fell in love with. Reading the book ....it references so many other music projects that he was involved with that my new playlist turned out to be a Beautiful dream in itself.
Hey a very nice video. I could feel a lot of positive vibes watching it.
I would recommend you "Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari".
Also, at 9:46 in the end which book's paragraph is it?
Thank you so much ☺️ Ah yes, loved that book, a great recommendation! That’s a quote from “Essentialism” by Greg McKeown!
Thank you!
Talking to Strangers is a great book !
Thanks these look great!
Theses nine minutes felt rreally short! Thanks for the recommendations
Currently reading outliers!
Thanks bro.
Thanks
Hey, your instagram link is messed up
Its just the low mic quality/setting. Other then that this is a great video
Great video! :) I think it would benefit from a better microphone though
Talking to Strangers seems like it would be a good book to read at the same time as The Four Agreements.
The Four Agreements is one of my favourites ☺️ Talking to strangers is a bit more about sociology/psychology. Could be an interesting mix!
Leave the book's tonight, and come on a date with me. How about it ! .
Отличный, обзор,я себе почти все книги залил из вышеперечисленных
tip- use mic or better mic plz
A Guide to the Good Life and Digital Minimalism are some of my best reads last year :)
Ooh thank you so much for recommending 😊 I’ve checked them out and added to my list! Looking forward to reading these!
