He called the facility the “House of Champions”… I’m surprised they’re still talking about my co-ed intramurals run from the mid to late 2000’s.

UConn administrators admitted that they never thought Louisville would be chosen over them for for the ACC. The same for Rutgers and the BIG 10. UConn currently has better facilities than Rutgers, but that is scheduled to change. The same can be said of Syracuse until they recently upgraded. UConn has the on campus facilities, stadium, and potential fan base to be a Power 5, soon to be Power 4 program. When the BIG 12 expands east, UConn better figure out a way to be included. If that does not happen, they better figure out a way to join and keep a reconstituted ACC a Power conference. UMass should drop down to FCS and be competitive again like Idaho, but for UConn they have to be all in or end up losing too much money and being forced to disband the whole program.

UConn football and success don't really belong in the same sentence but those are some nice facilities.

Compared to other Big 12 schools this isn’t anything special.
